BESPIN, CLOUD CITY

It took him some time, but he finally got to see her again. He didn't feel right calling it a 'date', much less that he knew who he was going on a date with. But from their first encounter, he knew that woman was a femme fatale, a girl that was just as dangerous, if not moreso, than he was. Plus- she was tall. He liked tall.

He wasn't at the club, no- in earnest, honest truth, Tulan didn't like clubs. Something about loud, repetitive noises, heat, and heavy vibrations reminded him of violent combat, and he couldn't piece together why. It wasn't that Tulan wouldn't go to a club, it's just that it was odd to catch him there. But then again, he was an odd person.

And currently- on the run. Sort of. More wanted, than anything. But out here, so far away from it all? Nobody cared. Bounty Hunters weren't popular, and they were more than likely to be arrested bringing him back to the Alliance, or the Silver Jedi. There was an unspoken truth that none of the Rangers would be coming after Tulan.

After all, he was their boss and mentor, for 90 percent of them.

He swung his leg over the other, watching the clouds... of cloud city. He never really went here for fun. It always seemed to be one mission after another, it was rarely a time for him to just sit back and relax. Maybe it was by design. It was easier to deal with everything bad in your life when you didn't stop moving and having something to do. But for the first time in nearly 13 years, Tulan had no allegiance to anyone. He was disavowed, wanted- but oddly, hopeful and at peace. Plus, a certain lovely lady had agreed to meet him.

He had reserved a table, both of the chairs facing the clouds. Tea, drinks, little snacks. No heavy meals. There was another restaurant, but he wanted just a nice time with her before anything else. Plus, he wondered if she paid attention to the news or not. He wanted to be as forthcoming as possible- an maybe she would too. But in all honesty- he was alright if she wasn't. If she remained a mystery, then a beautiful mystery she'd be. He smiled and thanked his waitress for the drink he was brought- a light alcoholic beverage in a fruity concoction. Sweet, delicious, and light- not too heavy on the drinks.

He waited, patiently, his eyes watching the sea of clouds shift and swirl, blue eyes reflecting the orange and white hues of the clouds.

For the first time in a long while, Tulan felt like he was going to have a good day.
