Misfits: Day One Lessons
Sgt. Djark Slavo stood on a platform in the middle of the Dune Sea under those vicious twin suns. His TUASF BDU cover sat firmly on his short matted hair. The first batch of the Project MISFIT participants were due to arrive shortly, fresh faced from Basic. Slavo had sent an idea up the chain without any real hope of actually accomplishing anything. The idea involved offering some of the seedier elements the Union had to offer a chance at legitimacy if they successfully completed ASF selection and training. The brass had loved it, figured it was a relatively cost effective way to help with relocating talent within prison populations and create a unit that would preform more dangerous assignments than those given to others. Complete corporate mentality. Frack a guy for having an idea, right?
Djark had mixed feelings about the whole venture. He was expected to train this beings to ASF standards, watch their progress throughout, and then eventually lead them on these extra dangerous missions. I mean, given his checkered history was definitely a right move in the moral department, but certainly not in the keeping oneself alive department.
The shuttle would be arriving soon. The former thief got into character with a sigh. He'd train them like he'd been trained. With the same monotone voice and tempered observations.
Yelling was for Basic and mo'tards.
