DESCRIPTION

Prototyped and developed outside Denon, and field tested at Firebase Phoenix, Ossarian; the Minotaur was an advancement in modern EVA space suit design. The design itself was created specifically for Extra-Vehicular Activity in long-range deep-space missions as well as deployment in hazardous terrestrial environments under the most stressful of physical conditions. The suit is armored with modern plas plating and a kinetic foam materials matrix to provide better combat durability ratings during wartime and to endure high suit-stress lab testing. A glasteel visor is attached and opaqued to counter deep space flare mitigation during space walk.

The design can mount a variety of jetpacks, includes mag-boots, mag-gloves, an integrated radiation badge, an electronic HUD with multiple zoom options, and is rated for eight hours of Extra-Vehicular Activity, or space walk.

The Minotaur II is the most modern variant of the DAS design and was patented and licensed for sale through the ATC Lianna special collections log. Parts and services will be made available for the next ten years.
