Minotaur EVA Armor

Image Source: Halo 5 Athlon Armor - Beta Render Repaint - 343 Studios.
Intent: Body Armor for the Public Market and all my PCs.
Development Thread: None.

Manufacturer: Denon Metalworks & Fabrication Limited
Model: Mark I
Affiliation: Open Market

Modularity: No
Production: Minor
Material: Agrinium, Glasteel, Armorplast, Photoreactive Fiber, & other nameless synthetic industrial polymers.

Classification: Long Range EVA Anti-Energy Armor.
Weight: 13.6 kg / 30 lbs
Quality: 8

Specific Features: (x2)

Standard Suit
  • Suit - Insulating synthetic bodyglove, integrated with an agrinium materials matrix, provides outstanding displacement against hazardous chemical substances, solar radiation, and the vacuum of space. Photo-reactive portions of the outer suit can change the user's exterior camo pattern via integrated menu selection. This does not make you invisible, it just changes the some of the paint job on the fly.
  • Shell - Armorplast mold-shell provides excellent protection against modern weaponry and similar harsh extra-terrestrial environmental conditions. Both energy and ballistic.
  • Powered Backpack - Offers 52 hours worth of a breathable bio-air mixture as well as powers many of the suit's components. Redundant circuitry is applied here to minimize Ion damage to primary circuitry.
  • Magnetic Boots - Are incorporated into both shoes. These are used for magnetic EVA spacewalking to cling to a vessel's hull without a grappling tether. There is no physical or synthetic strength added when worn.
  • Mesh Layer - An additional water-cooled mesh undergarment keeps the wearer cool during space-walk. Wireless control of this garment's temperature can be found on the left wrist or the utility belt.
  • Back Mount - Allows the option to equip a jetpack.

Helm Specific Features:
  • Holographic HUD display
  • Integrated Optical Magnification Zoom (4x) (16x)
  • Helm Camera
  • Light Amplification Voice-activated Visor
  • Rebreather Attachment
  • Exotic Filtration Attachment
  • Wireless Exterior Sensor Attachment

Description:

Prototype and developed outside Denon, and field tested at Firebase Phoenix, Ossarian; the Minotaur is an advancement in modern EVA space suit design. The design itself was created specifically for Extra-Vehicular Activity in long-range deep-space missions as well as deployment in hazardous terrestrial environments under the most stressful of physical conditions. The suit is armored with ceramic plating and a kinetic foam materials matrix to provide better combat durability ratings during wartime and to endure high suit-stress lab testing. A glasteel visor is attached and opaqued to counter deep space flare mitigation during space walk.

The design can mount a jetpack and is integrated with photoreactive fiber technology. The user can select any number of preloaded camouflage patterns programmed into their helm's holographic selection menu and have the selected pattern imprinted overtop their undersuit's fiber exterior. Additional and custom patterns may be loaded into the menu as necessary. Ceramic plating and exterior electronics must be painted as normal.

So to be clear this isn't like Predator turning transparent with a blurry outline, but more like changing BDU's without have to repaint the armor? The latter is what it reads as.

I don't see much out of place here.

Yeah. It's just a custom paint job that can change pattern. Portions of the upper bodysuit can change from say: Tiger Stripe to Olive Drab, or Desert Type to Snow, with just click of a button. Very casual stuff. I tried to paint the image likewise to the idea. Cheers.
