Mining for Beskar

Im looking to start a mining thread on Concordia. Does anyone want to help out?

You are not a Mando far as I dug. Without an agreement, there is no way the Mandalorians would allow an outsider to mine Beskar just like that. Even an agreement would be near impossible. I think the resources are nationalized. But there is always raiding and stealing the metal.

This is correct. Besk'ar mining operations are under strict watch - and we don't let outsiders come and take what they like. And be warned, should you try to steal or raid, you'll be taking on faction that has taken out two Sith factions in under a year just because they pissed the Mandos off. However, if your character -becomes- a Mandalorian and lives by the Resol'nare, we'd be happy to set up you with armor.

Or, you could go the easy way. Become a pirate, and take over some ships which have beskar plating- there's a few in the factory. *loopholes*

If you did mine beskar, you wouldn't be able to work it. It would be weak and not worth your time. I suggest alternative metals. Like phrik or cortosis

And Phrik and Cortosis are both restricted items that you have to meet requirements for in dev threads. They are listed in the "restricted items" list in the technology part of the factory.
