Milo was raised on the farmland outside Daphnes. On clear days, the city could be seen in the distance, one that never felt meant for him. From a young age, his life followed the seasons. Cold mornings in the fields and planting for the spring. The long days taught patience.

Serving as a farm hand, he quickly learned that the land offered no shortcuts. The crops demanded regular care, and horses always answered best to calm hands. This taught him that steadiness mattered more than raw strength, and of course, he took pride in doing the work properly, whether anyone noticed or not. Growing up, fixing what broke became second nature. Fence brackets, worn tools, cracked fittings; it was never anything elegant. Blacksmithing basics were learned, and over time, the work shifted from repair, to discovering how metal responded to heat. He grew to appreciate good craftsmanship. From tools to basic training equipment, he noticed when something was made well, even quicker when made poorly. Farm life also taught him to recognize patterns in the land, the weather, and the animals, all of which moved in rhythms he came to understand as the years passed.

For as long as he could remember, he found comfort in storytelling, both listening and speaking. He paid close attention when others shared their experiences, and when he spoke, it was usually to offer something simple. For Milo, stories were about understanding and connection. Faith came easily to Milo, something honest carried everywhere. He believed in purpose and balance, trusting that some things unfolded as they were meant to, whether he understood them or not.

As the second largest city on Ukatis, Daphnes exposed him to art in small ways. During his visits, he watched dancers rehearse and musicians practice their instruments. While he had no natural talent for it, he enjoyed drawing on spare scraps of paper.

Milo was discovered by the Jedi not long before the fall of the Core Worlds. The discovery opened a path he had never imagined for himself, reaching beyond the fields and routines he knew. Though leaving home was painful, it offered a new sense of purpose in answering the call. Life on Ukatis left him unprepared for how loud and crowded the rest of the galaxy could be. Even now, he often finds himself surprised by new customs and habits, but tends to meet them with curiosity.

The Forge: Milo still carries those lessons with him. Basic blacksmithing taught him patience and care, and he continues to practice whenever he finds the chance! Each hour spent repairing or shaping metal helps him refine his skills, and it also brings him back to the familiarity of home. Aside from standard meditation, the focus and repetition offer a another form, one that calms his thoughts as much as any other form of training.
