STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Intellect - Michael is very intelligent in speech, sense, and some working areas (Engineering, Physics, Biological, spacial)
Variety Tactical Commander - While Michael was ultimately famous for his naval commanding actions during the battle of Uluru, he also has skills in ground commanding.
Age - Michael is very old, and has aged in a negative path. The next few years may promise a retirement home. This affects his reaction time, his memory, and his strength.
Head Wound - Even with the reconstruction done to his face after his ground incursion that result in a wound to the right side of his head, he is still somewhat affected. His bionic eye can be affected by EMP-style weapons and sometimes he is overcome with migraines, and... very rarely, blackouts.

APPEARANCE:
Michaels' body is somewhere between lanky and strong. He has muscle, but he doesn't train them as much, and as such they are left over from his military sergeant and general days. With his age, he is quite a wrinkle-fest and war-torn, along with others in his field. When he was younger, he received a head wound which seriously disfigured his face, skull, and destroyed his eye. Later on, he got reconstructive surgery to fix his skull and a bionic eye to replace his lost one. There are small scars on the right side of his face, but not much more.

Michael was originally in the military of the Kingdom of Alexandria, serving his entire life until rebelling and joining The Commonwealth. He initially served in the ground combat as a die-hard veteran and survivalist that was biased to his own Kingdom, serving in nothing but honor and to serve his King. Later in his life, he was recognized for his tactics and command ability, which eventually got him ranked up to General, but it never seemed to quite be his forte. He never did horrible in the area, excluding the few times he messed up, but it didn't screw his career over. During missions that had him aboard starships, there were several encounters where he had better ideas and suggestions over the current Captains decisions, of course he was still made to stand down, but overall the Navy and the court recognized this, and requested he attempted being a Captain of a small vessel.

Acknowledging the wrong placement of Michael, he was forced into Admiral service as the failure and death of the previous caused a loss much greater than several victories. Michael was entrusted with several ships of assault groups in support of the Fleet Admiral [member="Horus"] . However, by this time, the civil war had begun, and Michael had lost his faith in his King. He graciously requested forgiveness from Horus, who had also grown to be his friend, as when the war started he was initially against Horus before a small battle and a discussion between the two changed Michael.

Admiral Michael Stanford, most admirably known for the Battle of Uluru, who lead an assault on the planet which took far too long, but in the end resulted in victory for the Commonwealth, followed Horus' orders as if he was the knew King. While he wasn't the old King that Michael would have gladly gave his life for, Horus made Michael become the man that he would survive for. Horus and Michael saw eye to eye in many engagements, although Michael became the subordinate and happily took his orders if Horus deemed his strategy was the better. However, near towards the end of the civil war, Michael ultimately retired, stating that the hardships of fighting against his own King still affected him, as he was originally sworn to the man. While Horus was right, the royal family had been there for the people for a long time. Not only that, but his depression increased his mental problems with the damage done to him in his early years, which made Michael feel he was unfit to serve by Horus' side. But now, as it had been awhile, he felt he had gotten over the pain... and he wanted to see his friend again.

While retired, he still visits the training camps of the Commonwealth as a way to repay his debt to Horus. He helps out with the training of recruits and guiding new sergeants. He does it as the small battle Horus and he had was unnecessary, especially for any of the lives lost during it.
