Michael is adept in long range sniping due to his life at home on Naboo. He hunted a lot with his Uncle Raloc on his trips to Tatooine. They would hunt local desert wildlife for sport.
One of his weakness is his inability to let go of past mistakes. He is constantly punishing himself for his past issues with his family and life on Naboo. He ran from his life on Naboo seeing it going nowhere, but in a dead end direction. He also feels compelled to constantly be proving himself even at the cost of a mission. That has gotten him in trouble with his squad commanders in the past.
APPEARANCE: Michael has medium combat armor sporting the CIS insignia on his left and right shoulder pauldrons. He has short, kind of scraggly brunette hair. He appears as an average build and tall.
EQUIPMENT: A damaged left forearm com-link, right-eyed, yellow, ocular H.U.D. device that aids Michael in his sniping. He also carries on his back, a Seperatist commando sniper rifle equipped with a bipod and targeting scope.
BIOGRAPHY:
Michael Sorek is a member of the Cognito Family. He changed his last name after joining the CIS a while back to distance himself from his family. During a routine supply run for the CIS, their ship was attacked and the squad had to abandon ship in the area of the planet of Bestine, in Omega Protectorate territory. Michael has resided in one of the Island Spire settlements for over a year now. He was picked up by colonists of the Island Spire with a damaged com-link and a questioning desire to rejoin service with the CIS. He has no idea the CIS no longer exists and is now reformed as the Abrion Systems Authority. He's developed a relationship with the colonists of the Island Spire by acting as a fisherman of sink crabs and armored fish. Currently, he lives in a small abode on the Spire. Michael has no clue if any of his squadmates landed their pods on the planet. None have turned up in the Island Spire settlement. All Michael knows is that he's stuck on a world that is mostly ocean and that if the CIS come for him, he would have to talk to them about returning to service.
