Combining the two into a home-made weapon--whiel having a nervous breakdown to keep it more interesting than just hammering metal for a dozen posts.

Size: One on each hand
Length: teh claws extend about four centimeters from the finger-tips. The whole length of the gauntlet is a little over 30 cm, covering the forearm below the elbow neatly.
Weight: 2.7 kg total, each glove is 1.35 kg.
Special Features: Lightsaber-resistant, and fairly light-weight for it's design. Refractive attuned focusing crystals speed dispersal of energy, allowing it to disperse small blaster fire and electrical energy via focused force channeling.

Description: Built to prevent Vorhi losing a limb, the Mestarin käsissä (literally translated as 'hands of the master' from old Palawan) are built to allow him to deflect the blades of lightsabers and channel destructive energy attack away from his soft, vulnerable flesh. Lightly padded for comfort and reinforced for impact, the Hands are designed exclusively for a Master of Teras Kasi. The integration of focusing crystal splinters in both gloves, as well as the introduction of force energy into the mixture of phrik and cortosis alloys, provides for surprisingly resilient alloy. However, in removing the structural brittleness associated with most Cortosis alloys, the new alloy of blood and steel is no longer capable of "shorting out" a lightsaber blade. It instead merely blocks the blade as though it were solid instead of a high-power plasma conduit.
The gloves are attuned specifically to Vorhi's own blood and Force-connected energy, and would likely be clumsy and somewhat stiff in the hands of another wielder. However, a sufficiently skill craftsman could re-attune them to their own blood, provided they had time and made sufficient preparations.
