The moving was taking a bit longer than expected. Despite not having much in the way of personal items, there was still plenty of logistics to figure out. Permissions and announcements of the move, notifying the appropriate parties, and then organizing the move on her bigger items. Most importantly, her podracer.

The old Whizzing Arrow wasn't getting out as much as she was supposed to, not that it was anyone's fault. Ara was a Knight now, with her own duties and a padawan to take care of. But it was still fun to take it for a spin now and again when she had the time... and now with a whole new planet to explore, that desire was bigger than ever.

The Zabrak glanced down at her guitar with a smile. As the music played, her thoughts roamed free. Prospects of taking on a new padawan in the Hurikane temple, settling in with her new quarters... and old friends. It was great to see Jasper again after a few years, catching up with him was lovely. But it made her think of someone else.

The end of the war allowed Iris a break she desperately needed to process everything that happened. They all needed it after everything they went through. But that break took a very long time for some and eventually contact was lost. Now, though, Ara had a feeling that she needed to reach out. A message was sent to Iris, inviting her to the new temple. Ara didn't bother to check if Iris responded. She could feel it. Iris would pull through.

Her gaze shifted up from her guitar and instead stared out across the horizon and the setting sun from the edge of a landing pad.

It would be good to see her old friend again. The silence needed to be broken.

It was a message she hadn't expected to get.

Iris smiled as her ship landed. She didn't know much about the TAC, only that Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el had a hand in it, but that wasn't why she'd come here. Not even for the temple, or the Jedi. Ara had sent her a message. Reached out after all this time. Could Iris have done the same? Absolutely, but she hadn't. She wasn't sure what to say, especially with everything that happened with the Mandalorains.

Now was different though.

So down the ramp she went, her droid on her shoulder as she looked through the colors around for one set that was familiar. "Ara."

A ship came in and touched down on the landing pad. Ara could feel the presence onboard, but didn't rise or stop playing her guitar. She waited patiently for Iris to disembark. Before she could even say anything, Iris greeted her first. The guitar fell silent as a warm smile took hold of the Zabrak. Her eyes felt a little foggy as she rose and turned to look at her friend.

"Hey there, pork chop." She greeted softly. She couldn't maintain her calm and collected composure for long as she set her guitar down and strode over to Iris to pull her into a tight hug. "I've missed you." She muttered, burying her face into the crook of her friend's neck. She did not let up for a good moment or two, even picking Iris up to spin her around.

After a small eternity, she set Iris down and looked her over with a beaming smile. "Hot damn, you're looking good!" She remarked, giving her a light nudge. "That vacation did you wonders." She continued, walking back to pick up her guitar. "Come on, let's get you settled in. How have you been?" She asked with enthusiasm as she placed a hand on Iris' shoulder as a gesture for her to follow.

There was a lot to catch up on. But knowing Iris, it was probably going to take some coercing to get answers out of her. She had a plan for that.

"Pork chop is new."

Iris muttered in surprise. It took a second before she returned the hug to Ara, squeezing the other girl tight. Or as tight as she could. The differences in the strength in her arms was very apparent. All the scars had taken their tole, even if they were far more faded now than they had been. She smiled after a moment, a faint smile at that. Awkward as always, but she'd gotten somewhat better at it.

Though she half froze as she was lifted and spun. There was an awkward pause as she was set down, clearly trying to process it. She followed along though, smiling a little more.

"Fine, mostly. Been working as one of those traveling doctors for a bit. It's been good, healing people. Helping, and only helping." Not fighting. Not killing. She still hadn't even picked up her lightsaber again.

"What about you? Why are you so far out here?"

A bright smile set in as Ara glanced at Iris. Of course she was working as a healer. Ara was always jealous of Iris' abilities in that department. She tried to learn as well, but she struggled to get past the bare basics of it. It just wasn't for her at the end of the day. But for Iris? It was difficult to picture the girl in any other role. "I'm glad. Healing always suited you good." She remarked.

Iris asked her in turn why she was so far away from Alliance space. Ara hesitated for a brief moment as she stared ahead of them. "To be honest? I needed a change in scenery. Constantly fightin' crime on Coruscant was taking a toll on me. Felt like I wasn't making a difference, in a way. Was getting some seriously dark thoughts from doing it. Plus... some personal stuff went down and it was interfering with my ability to do my job." She admitted softly as she glanced at Iris.

"All of that also felt like it was startin' to interfere with my ability to teach Jalen. I don't wanna disappoint him as his master. Getting a clear mind back, while making a difference out here, felt like the right thing to do." She continued. Eventually they reached a common room of sorts and Ara -naturally- made her way to the small kitchen area. "You hungry? Figured I'd hold off on lunch while I was waiting for you." She asked her with a warm smile. Hopefully Iris didn't lose her appetite with her vacation.
