Affiliation: The Mandalorian Empire via private commission
Manufacturer: Ri'ess Emeritus Industries, Inc.
Model: Meshurok-Type Imperial Dreadnought
Modularity: Nein
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel Hull, Titanium-Desh Alloy Frame, Adamithium Launcher/Silo Lids
Classification: Destroyer; Skirmisher

Length: 1.325 km
Width: .366 km
Height: .34 km

Armament: 8
  • 8 x AV-7 Antivehicle Cannon Triplet-Batteries (Heavy mult.) [192]
    2 dorsal port
  • 2 dorsal starboard
  • 2 ventral port
  • 2 ventral starboard

[*]2 x Hypervelocity Cannons (fixed) [40]
[*]1 x VIORA Cannon (fixed) [320]
[*]50 x Flex Tube Launchers [200]
[*]28 x Nano Missile Salvo Launchers [54]
[*]8 x Broadcap Torpedo Tubes [64]
[*]6 x Assault Concussion Missile Silos [120]
Ammo Cache:
(Parentheses denote how many Flex Tube launchers are used/disabled to fire one warhead)
Defenses: 11
Hangar: 1 x sqdn. or equivalent, in ventral bow (3x swarm fighters or 4x drones)

Mean average armament of Patrol Destroyer/Balanced Destroyer:
(((300 * 2) + (60 * 4) + (100 * 1)) + ((600 * 2) + (15 * 2 * 4) + (80 * 1))) / 2 = 1,170
Meshurok-Type total armament:
192 + 40 + 320 + 200 + 54 + 64 + 120 + 80 + 12 = 1,082

Special Features:
Maneuverability Rating: 15
Speed Rating: 15

Hyperdrive Class: 1.0 // 11.0

Strengths:
  • Wholly ballistic armament which is efficient at attacking targets hardened against conventional energy weaponry
  • High forward fire throw-weight and damage potential
  • Excellent anti-attack craft defenses
Weaknesses:
  • Its three largest weapons being forward-fixed, they are increasingly difficult to keep on a moving target the closer it is
It takes a considerable amount of time to aim them (and thus the ship) at even a stationary target
  • Whilst aimed at a target, the ship exposes its lowest profile to the target but inhibits the aiming of the rearmost-four main turrets

[*]Not designed for supercapital ship brawling
[*]Limited by ammunition (reloading magazines is time-consuming)
Quirks:
  • Maneuvering Thrusters reduce shields output by 7.5% in operation
  • Maneuvering Thrusters reduce VIORA output by 7.5% (calculated after decay) in operation
  • Maneuvering Thrusters reduce CIWS output (rate of fire) by 7.5% in operation
Description: The Meshurok is essentially a flying ion shotgun, designed to advance behind swarm carriers and breach a large gap in the enemy's formation during the convolution. As such, the ship's damage potential is only highest at very close ranges. It's secondary armament is ill-suited to large-scale capital warfare and thus it is only most effective when used with the aforementioned doctrine and escorted by proper warships who may take full advantage of its line-breaching capabilities. Despite its lackluster performance as an individual destroyer, the Meshurok's highly specialized armament allows it to quickly devastate smaller ships in massive volleys of missile and shell fire whilst its tertiary armament of nano-missiles and particle cannon flak put up a very strong defense against attack craft. Transversal speed is the main limiting factor of the Meshurok, being slow to turn and having heavy batteries which are relatively slow to adjust.

There is a small, wedged inlet in the nose of the ship to give room for the blast cone of the VIORA Cannon, with either hypervelocity cannon on the port and starboard points. The ship itself has a very small longitudinal profile and somewhat thin lateral profile, making it a harder target to hit from head-on, where its greatest strengths lie. There are a total of eight main batteries, two on each quarter of the ship, the thinly wedged shape of the ship just barely allowing for all eight to find an aimpoint on a single target so long as it is almost zero degrees from the nose of the ship. The flex tube missile launchers are lined port and starboard in the hull in groups of twenty five , with two rows consisting of twelve over thirteen launchers per side in honeycomb pattern (with the obvious caveat that missiles worth multiple warheads reduce how many launchers can be used to fire since ammo doesn't seem to factor into capital ship RP). In the back of the ship lies the six assault concussion missile silos, three port and starboard, similarly capable of only firing a total of six at any given time before (considerably lengthy) rearming times. Two CIWS protect the VIORA's dorsal and ventral area of the ship whilst four more protect each sector of the Meshurok's very low-profile bridge & observatory.

Much of the Meshurok's cargo space is dedicated to holding shell magazines and ammo caches, leaving cargo capacity relatively low in comparison to standard vessels while the ship's racks are fully cached as listed. Passenger capacity is also low, though crew size remains average.

Development Thread:
(The VIORA Satellite sub got nerfed and there were only two each instead of four, leaving the other four to be distributed elsewhere. I can still do a posterity dev though if absolutely required.)
Intent: This is the flagship of Saera Savan as an admiral of the Mandalorian Empire, and as such fits a narrow variety of niche roles very well and is a one-off.

Who Can Use This: Saera Savan
