DESCRIPTION
During the first battle of Brosi, the Mahporeem Imperial Navy quickly recognized the importance of preparing to counter the effects of Battle Meditation. For this, Jord Du'mas was tasked to find the solution. His solution came in the form of the Merzoidian people. Being staunchly isolationist and insular, the conservative race only really seemed to care about farming and making their living. Jord knew that they were disinterested in imperial politics, but he also knew that they loved farming and prosperity. He guessed that they would not say no to a new potential high yielding, high return cash crop. He quickly set to work in his hydroponics lab, and after a couple years of genetic testing, he came up with something that was both effective and appealing to his love of smoking.

As per Jord's design, merzocine can be found in three major sources within the plant anatomy: the nicotine leaves, the caffeine fruit, or the caffeine beans. Using these components, Mahporeem Imperial Processing Facilities can make a wide variety of consumable products to be used for administering the merzocine to the consumer: cigarettes, coffee, tea, juice, transdermal patches, etc…
