APPEARANCE:
Made out of the same coarse material as her Mother, Merrax and Lyran shared many of the same physical qualities - a familial jawline, strong and defined, suggesting the stubbornness and determination of the women who share it. A sharp-angled face, and impenetrable deep-set greyish-blue eyes. The only difference, really, is her thick fire-maned hair that she keeps brushed back, away from her face and often pulled into tight, elaborate braids. She is not the tallest or most impressive daughter in her family, but still lean and athletic in movement.
BIOGRAPHY
History:
Merrax was born and raised on Mandalore on the Vihan farmstead with her siblings and parents, up until the age of thirteen when she had a fall out following the abduction of her younger brother Dak, taken by the Knights of Ren due to his force sensitivity. This event shattered her world, and Merrax imposed a form of self-exile out of the deep shame she felt for her clan and family, who had allowed it to happen.
During the intervening years, Merrax would survive by picking up odds and ends type jobs until eventually finding her way into bounty hunting. Brought up in the warrior lifestyle, with the boon of a hunters skill set from her father and his predator like instincts, she was able to keep herself a float with just enough credits for fuel and food.
When Mia Monroe laid waste to Mandalore, it was her uncle, -who had been estranged since the death of his wife- Joanes Quez, that broke the news that her family did not survive the assault. Adding this to a list of injuries her family suffered, has cemented her dislike for Force wielders and their kind.
Now, after many years of being away from her home and culture, she has made the decision to return to her roots, being integrated into Clan Quez, with the simple desire to do her part and help her people rebuild what has been destroyed.
