Meridian Crown Holdings, Ltd. is primarily a company for acquiring and holding assets, primarily Meridian Station and Revelle, both spacefaring casinos. It operates these casinos in international space specifically to avoid entanglements with galactic powers (not to mention taxes). It welcomes people from all over the galaxy, however; anyone who has the funds to stay and play is welcome. Anyone who makes trouble is invited to leave, either by way of their own ship or an airlock.
RATIONALE
Selim Kadir founded Meridian Crown Holdings, Ltd. after a hostile takeover of the shareholders of the Revelle Luxury Travel Corporation, wherein he leveraged debts, property, and his life savings, as well as mortgaging the Revelle, the Revelle Luxury Travel Corporation's primary asset. It put Selim in a large amount of debt -- eyewatering, in fact -- but it allowed him to secure financing for the creation of Meridian Station. Meridian Crown Holdings, Ltd. doesn't just operate in cash and credit, though. It has a thriving ledger of secrets, favors, and other -- shall we say? -- non-traditional leverage that allowed it to float while establishing itself financially.
Selim Kadir owns the controlling stake in Meridian Crown Holdings, Ltd., and thus serves as its Chairman of the Board and President.
