Name: Mella Foundries.
Intent: To house and produce miscellaneous metals, droids and cheaply made weapons.
Classification: Industrial Plant.
Location: Douldur sector, Drunkenwell.
Affiliation: Mella industries, and the associated allies of said industries.
Description: An obtuse expanse of grey metal with rounded towers of durasteel tipped with cylindrical statuettes to the Hutt Mongo’s glory. It has a railroad line leading to and from the main building and foundry from the excavation sites. Mongo, and his associates have built and sourced help from off world and the native population.
The Office: Built atop of the main building of Mongo Foundries, it would be composed of two large rooms the first would be a waiting room and the latter would be an office with a desk and a flat cushioned couch. The production line: It is a line of mechanical limbs and conveyor belts that make up the core of the foundry, creating and altering metals into flat squares ready to be imported or moved.
Excavation site: A large round crater that goes down seven meters deep, leading off into artificial caves and outcrops, machines of vary levels of technology could be seen, the various workers and enforces dotting it.
The lab: A smaller version of the production line, located below the building. It would fit and alter the materials from upstairs into shapes and shells, producing simple droids with varying imperfections.
History: Drunkenwell, was chosen from its rich history and metal deposits. From the Confederacy of Independent Systems alignment during the clone wars, to the Imperial occupation. It saw a fall in it’s technological production at the hands of the Vong war, were the Vong captured and enslaved the planets population and terraformed its surface turning it into agricultural themed slave encampment, after their fall and loss of the planet Drunkenwell, had fallen out of the galaxies view.
(Now this is where the Wookipida entry ends, I’ve made an assumption based on the information present)The planet Drunkenwell, maintained its agricultural state during and around the events of the Netherworld crisis, Mongo the Hutt later invested and started a mining operation, the main process and construction of the site revolved around semi-automated machines, digging and building with the aid and help of organics. Creating the foundries was more complicated and help had to be sourced off world, but the eventual mining operation sprung to life opening the doors back to Drunkenwells, foundry laden past.
