Meeting with an Admirer

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
[member="Darth Sinna"]

BELKADAN, SUBACH HEADQUARTERS

Circe was here for one reason and on reason only - she had received an anonymous message from someone who requested a meeting with her. Whoever this person was, Circe felt that his or her interest in her deserved some notice. However, she was well aware that this could've been a trap, and as such had her lightsaber with her. She rarely used it, but it was better than nothing. With that, she waited at her desk, hoping that her secretary soon notified her of the arrival of her 'admirer.'

To say that she was anxious was an understatement. Dressed in her best wares, a glistaweb dress worn over a corset, Silara was ready to get down to business. While she was certainly here under the guise of business to those whom had kept tabs on her, the Sith was here for an entirely different reason - she'd met this [member="Enigma"] at an auction at some point, and ever since she'd kept a close eye out for any sign of her. Knowing relatively little about this person, the meeting she'd been invited to was a game of chance for her, either getting a cold shoulder right off the bat, or maybe a warmer welcome. The fact that she'd come to know of this woman through the One Sith, however, told her she should be prepared to be considered a threat. Arriving at the Subach headquarters on Belkaden, a planet that was well within an area of space known to her - she used to be a very prominent figure in an empire that held dominion over the planet and a few of its neighbors before she left them for the Sith, Silara walked in with the confidence only a Sith could afford. "Hello, miss, I believe I have a scheduled appointment with a certain [member="Enigma"]." The blonde said with a sharp smile, the sort that seemed friendly at a glance but was certainly hiding something beneath the surface, perhaps a sense of brooding.

The secretary said absolutely nothing, but motioned back to a partially open door in the background. When Silara entered the room, she would be greeted by the shaded form of Circe Savan, sitting behind the desk with her feet up on the flat wooden surface. With her hand, she motioned for the One Sith acolyte to take a seat in the plush chair nearest to the desk's opposite side.

"So... What are you here for, may I inquire? Did I somehow perk your fancy?"

Upon being directed to the room, which she entered silently, she was greeted with a very desirable view of [member="Enigma"] sitting back in her chair, and her dismissive gesture to the chair across from her desk sent her on her way to the designated spot. "Hello." She immediately replied, in a slightly higher pitch than she was used to - flinching at the sound of her own greeting. '"Hello"? Just "Hello"? Am I always this awkward? ' Silara thought to herself, mentally kicking herself. Allowing herself to clear her throat she leaned forwards slightly, thinking of what to say. "I'm sure you don't remember me, but we met at an auction some time ago. Well, uhm, you caught my attention and since then I've been keeping my eye out for you, out of interest.." Silara continued, her voice trailing off as she realized how pathetic she sounded - like a stalker of some sort.

"What sort of interest, might I ask?" Circe smiled. The woman in front of her seemed... intriguing, to say the least. The Dark Side seemed to radiate off of her, very much like another Sith woman she knew. "Are you here to discuss business? Were you drawn to my beauty, as others have been? Or is there a more... more personal reason you've chosen to come here?"

Circe scooted forward, allowing a trite bit more flesh to be seen by the woman. The more awkward she made this, the more fun this would be, since she doubted that Silara was here for business dealings.

In all honesty, the blonde sith was having second thoughts about her impulsive meeting, and had been prepared to walk right out the door before the brunette leaned forwards and pressed her further. Though not as distracted as she was sure the woman would have liked, the twenty-something Vahla instead cleared her throat and shifted in her seat slightly, looking at the ceiling for a moment as she thought of how to put what she wanted to say. She wasn't going to sound like an idiot again. "I was wondering if you were seeing anyone." Silara replied, matter-of-factly, smiling as she normally would have. Though it was uncomfortable for her to be so forward, she wasn't going to lose her edge - especially not over some pretty-face. If this was to become a crippling weakness, she would leave it without hesitation.

Circe smiled, her aggressive attitude intentionally growing greater. "Seeing anyone... Why no. Not unless you're referencing the gorgeous young lady my eyes are currently looking over right now." Her grin grew ever bigger as she stood up, sizing the woman across from her up as she moved to walk around the table, like a predator encircling her prey. "Are you... interested?"

Well, that was most certainly blunt.

Raising her brow and widening her eyes slightly in mild shock, the blonde had certainly not expected such a response from someone who was at least something of a reputable business owner. She couldn't help but notice the sort of dominating stare that the brunette had cast on her, and she found it almost intoxicating that she could feel the mixture of feelings and emotions that ran through her own head in the woman's. Having overcome her shock rather quickly, the expression of it faded and soon afterwards the hint of a grin began to appear at the corners of her mouth while she contemplated the question. In truth, she wanted to say yes right away - however she also wanted to ensure that there was no juvenile dominance or submission in a relationship with her - that was indeed what she wanted, a relationship and not some sort of karking booty call. Allowing herself to lean back, Silara brought both of her hands together to tap the tips of her fingers against each of them. "If you became one of my sources of passion, would I become yours?" The Sith asked a bit more cryptically, no longer hiding her true voice. Though she had no idea of any possibilities of [member="Enigma"]'s aliases in other circles, she wished to be open with a potential love interest.

The question she asked was a loaded one, which would make or break the interest that the Vahla had with the brunette. Would she willfully accept a potential weakness, or would she lie and give her up at the first sign of complications? Though Sith often forgo potential weaknesses, the reason why Silara held herself in such high esteem among her peers was her strength even with the odds stacked against her - weakness used as strength, love as passion. If the woman was incapable of loving her, she would take the heartache and leave. There was no use in staying in an empty relationship, regardless of the beauty.

A quick step forward brought the clandestine Sith lady directly in front of the acolyte. She smiled, gently bringing her hand to the underside of Silara's head, her fingers gracefully running over the flesh that coated her jaw. Slowly, they ran upwards to the forward-most part of her chin before being removed. A delicate smile - friendly, cordial - would peer back at Silara, one with a clear indication of Circe's predatorship. "I would certainly say so, sweet thing. Now, shall we discuss more such information in my... private office?"

She motioned to behind her desk, against the wall where there was a door that had been obscured by the shadow lie closed. "Shall we?"

Slowly rising from her seat, the blonde couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension, perhaps just her nerves - but not quite. She'd done a bit of research on the woman, and although not much was conclusive, she was aware that her own history could certainly be found with a considerable amount of effort on someone with a considerable amount of wealth and resources. While she was certainly not a well-known public figure by any means, there was still an odd gap in her personal records during her early years to indicate that she could have merely replaced the true Silara, or perhaps simply disappeared for a while. Blinking away the dazed thoughts that had flooded her dizzied head, she moved towards where [member="Enigma"] had gestured, letting out a deep breath while she looked onward. "I suppose we should, then." Silara replied, feeling a sense of foreboding that told her nothing would be the same after this talk.

Opening the door, Circe smiled, letting Silara go first before shutting it and gently placing her hands on the woman's shoulders, giving her a light massage. "I suppose that after all it's best for you and your shoulders to be properly pleased." The further down the hallway they would go, the darker it would get, until they came to a room with a single bed, a light dangling over it.

"You first, I insist."

Silara flinched at the woman's touch, though her body quickly relaxed as she felt the comforting massaging of hands on her shoulders, a slight sigh escaping from her lips. The walk down the hall seemed to take forever, and [member="Enigma"]'s gentle touch didn't quite help with the lapse in time, but once they reached the doorway she stopped and her eyes went wide as she realized that a "talk" was certainly not in order.

It also seemed as though this beautiful brunette thought that one of the two of them were simply a booty call, and while she wasn't one for morals, she did not appreciate such blatant disrespect. Turning her head a bit, to look toward the now speaking brunette, Silara moved away slightly and opened her mouth to speak. "I wasn't expecting..." She began to say, turning while her eyes darted towards the bed, not sure how to continue.

"No no, I think you misunderstand..." She paused, motioning as she sat down on the edge of the large bed. "Let's talk. Right here. You and I. Sitting in an office chair for five to six hours a day is boring and bland. Occasionally I sit down around here and just relax. You currently are quite literally in my 'comfort zone.'"

Patting the part of the bed next to Silara, she motioned for her to sit down. "It's the softest thing you'll ever sit down on. Helps relieve the tension caused by rogue Mandalorians, non-rogue Mandalorians, competing CEOs, biased judges, and stupid underlings."
