SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Oodles of Noodles: This cybernetic is one of the most time consuming projects Sutaz has ever worked upon. It is meant to perfectly replicated and function like a natural head of tendrils one would find on a Nautolan, with plenty of features beyond that to boot!
  • Realistic Noodles: Synthetic skin makes these tendrils look as much like the genuine article as possible! The only distinguisher is the gaps in between the skin that are visible upon close inspection, these gaps being there so that technology within the tendrils can be comfortably deployed.
Wet Noodles: These tendrils, being replications of Nautolan biology, are made with water in mind. They are able to function within it seamlessly.
STRENGTHS
  • Versatile: All 14 tendrils are able to move independently of eachother. Unlike typical Nautolan tendrils, these are designed to be able to move whether or not the user is within water. They are also somewhat longer than the typical nautolan tendrils, clocking in at 3 feet long.
  • Flexible: Under the synthetic skin is a mix of interweaved duraplast, cortosis and durasteel bands layered around assorted electric components. Each individual band is layered on top of a few others, allowing these tendrils to expand to twice their length.
  • Surprisingly Strong: A small yet intricate network of contracting mechanisms directly under the metal bands within each tendril gives them a surprising amount of both gripping and lifting strength when they latch onto things, each one individually being as strong as an average arm.
  • Deceptive: These tendrils are large enough to hide small gadgets within their ends that can be deployed to serve a variety of purposes. With 14 slots to store small gadgets, the sky is the limit.
  • EMP Resistant: The Duraplast layering provides extensive EMP resistance. Though the small gadgets within the tendrils may be able to be knocked out by technology, the tendrils and their own functions will remain untouched.
WEAKNESSES
  • Capacity: Though the tendrils have a storage capacity, each one is fairly small. Whatever gadgets are installed cannot surpass the small rating. In the case of pvp threads, a list of gadgets installed within each tendril will be provided for the sake of clarity and fairness.
  • Not Extremely Durable: The cortosis, duraplast and durasteel make these pretty hearty as far as cybernetics of this size go, but they hardly match what you'd find on a proper piece of armor due to how thin the layers of this metal are. They are able to take a fair amount of abuse from blaster bolts and normal blades, but extensive blunt force, prolonged contact with lasers or a well aimed chop at one of the joints can easily render these tendrils harmless. Their purpose is to overwhelm a target with numbers rather than standing on their own.
DESCRIPTION
Sutaz has worked on a lot of cybernetics in her time. Doing so after her accident became essential to her survival. But none have received more of her attention than the Medusa Type Cybernetic. Before she lost them, her long purple tendrils with hints of bioluminescent sparkles were her pride. When she lost them, she felt she had lost a part of herself. Even more so than the loss of all of her limbs. She has put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into making these tendrils able to serve the purpose of the ones she lost and more. They are her magnum opus. A testament to her willpower in the face of unfathomable loss. It also represents an investment of WAY too many credits.
