Strengths and Weaknesses

• Mandalorian: Medrit was trained extensively from a very young age in hand-to-hand and close quarters combat, marksmanship, fieldcraft and explosives. He's had extensive experience since, though remained a specialist in close-quarters gunfights.
• Natural Leader: It's not enough to be able to walk the walk, you have to be able to talk the talk as well. Medrit is a natural leader, one who's always looking out for those under him, making up for their collective weaknesses with their collective strengths.
• Survivor: Medrit Kote has been through hell and back, having survived the Evacuation of Breshig and numerous battlers since, not to mention his dueling ordeal in Sith captivity.
• Tactician: Medrit has shown skill mechanized combined arms warfare. He's more than able to maneuver his mechanized formation to take advantage of his opponents' lax positioning and the like.
• Ghosts of the Past: Medrit is haunted by the Ghosts of the Past, the men he served with, the men he believes he should have died with.
• Scars: Though he is 50, the phantom pain of torture long past makes Medrit feel more like 60. War is a young man's game. Whether skill and experience can carry him through remain to be determined for sure.
• Where the Shab Were You?: Medrit believes in experience before everything else and will not take anything from anyone he believes hasn't given enough to the fight already.
• Rangir: Medrit doesn't believe he has much life left in him and believes he's done all he can for the next generation. Hence, he believes his duty is done, and there's not much holding him to this world.

Appearance

Tall and built, Medrit Kote is an imposing figure even out of armor. Though he does not need to be for one to see the weight that he carries with him. In his youth he could have stepped right off a Mandalorian recruiting poster, but those days are log behind him. He'd and older man in a young man's game and he knows it. Even Strill's nanite based solutions for healing have not had much of an effect on him. His blue-grey armor while pockmarked with impacts is largely free of symbols or adornment save for a simple white trim. While his body is crisscrossed by both battle and torture scars, his face was left free of the latter almost as a cruel joke. Though it serves to show his prowess that he never really received any battle scars to vital areas.

Biography

Medrit Kote is a veteran Mandalorian warrior who hails from the clans that used to inhabit the now largely abandoned planet of Breshig. He earned most of his battle experience dighting for Strill Securities since his youth and was present during one of the planet's most trying times; the Evacuation of Breshig. During the evacuation, Medrit and his unit stayed behind to buy time for the evacuation ships to get the non-combatants and his brothers and sisters in arms to safety. Medrit and his unit were unfortunately captured by the Sith and held till Shuklaar Kyrdol was able to make his deal with the devil; the agreement with Arctus Silmar.

Medrit was returned to Breshig by Captain Jhira Mereel along with other captured Mandalorians and stolen materiel. Medrit refused to retire, insisting that he was going to "fight as long as he could still move" Some wounds, however, never heal. Though he threw himself back into service, he could never escape the truth that a part of him died with his men on one of Breshig's moons that day. On hearing about the raid on Dromund Kaas, Medrit went straight to Shuklaar and demanded to be deployed, and made the claim that he "owed him that much". Shuklaar relented.
