I have been looking for people to amass a crew, or might already have one. I really want to toss my mechanic character into some work, but I am not having much luck. Anyone need a mechanic/pilot in their squad?

Well as far as designing vehicles, I haven't done that, but i am always down to learn. Tbh i didn't know there were actual designs, just RP lol.

And with the kitbash/junker ships, he's a scrapper mechanic, so that would be perfect. As soon as I design the Star-Scraper, you'll see

I appreciate the offer, but I'm afraid Hubert isn't very well liked by the Empire. If things ever were to change, or i make an imperial-aligned mechanic you will be the first to know!

I had him running with Sorr Kortu for a proper PC crew but otherwise he has his own ship, the Endless Song, with a crew of NPC pirates.

I'm thinking it might be neat if my guy recruits your guy by chance meeting. Maybe they cross paths in some skirmish or just share drinks in a cantina?
