MechaMadness [Valik]

A monstrosity walked Nam Chorios. While thunderstorms seared the skies above with lightning and darkness, the beast below walked with steps that made the ground shudder and quake. Ghastly horns and spines stood out all across the creatures back, while jutting from its mouth were two tusks, wickedly sharp. Beady little eyes stared out with an evil glimmer, but what was more startling was that the beast was covered in armor and dragging a mace, which it grasped with a freakishly long arm ending in vile talons.

From within the brain of the terentatek, Sev3n analyzed. After the master had been defeated, Sev3n's programming lost purpose. The beast's volition took precedence. And the terentatek sought a dark side nexus. So, Sev3n brought the body to Nam Chorios. The Hunter Killer A.I. convinced a pair of spacers to fly it off Coruscant in return for sparing their lives. Their bodies and the burning wreckage of their freighter lay a league behind Sev3n.

Finding a tunnel, Sev3n moved into the black open mouth and into the cave network beneath while simultaneously analyzing the terentatek's hunger for Force energies. The darkness was stronger below, so Sev3n moved the beast on with its thundering steps echoing the stormclouds above.

Nam Chorios was not a place of peace.

Valik

Professor of Alchemy
Valik had found himself on Nam Chorios, a recently acquired Sith World, in search of some unique specimens. He had heard tale of the insect plagues and living crystals, which prompted him to conduct a safari. The insect plague was easy enough to find and harvest, provided you were looking small enough, but the crystals had required a bit more effort, bidding Valik go searching in tunnelous caverns beneath the surface.

Upon finding his targets he discovered their size was far greater than he expected, with the mineral life forms becoming more akin to boulders than mere rocks. Valik clenched the metal of his left glove together, his plan of using an ion attack to stun the crystal wouldn't work if he didn't have an adequate system of carrying a crystal. Shrugging to himself, he turned around, and begun thinking of what tools he had to transport the creatures. Then, for a moment, he paused. He could feel it in the air, the presence of a monster, and not one of his own creation. He drew his lightsaber to his hand, not yet igniting it. If the beast had been created recently he kill the beast could use Psychometry to discover the creator, if it had a copse afterwards and see if he was being tracked by the Empire or if there were an alchemist on Nam Chorios.

The terentatek sniffed the air. Something.... a mortal. Sev3n swiftly analyzed the scent patterns, distinguishing it to be a male. The terentatek sensed Force Sensitivity. It hungered for flesh. Sev3n was not driven by such mundane needs, however its body needed sustenance. The terentatek stomped forward in the darkness, its predatory night vision seeing where humans could not.

"Statement: mortal, my body senses you. It shall feast on your flesh."

The mace swung down in the confines of the cavern, shattering the stone beneath and making the cavern tremble and quake. Sev3n's algorithms had concluded that this would create a high probability of the human stumbling, ten percent chance of the human falling. The terentatek moved forward with unnatural speed, incredible in a being of its size. It brought its left hand back as it charged, claws extended, intending to rip the human in half.

As Valik came forward he heard and felt the stomping of something big, likely big enough for the tunnels and caverns of Nam Chorios to be cumbersome, limiting. He continued onwards, before a large shockwave went throughout the ground, knocking Valik backwards and onto the ground. As he fell he ignited his lightsaber and threw it forward, seeing the hideous, beautiful amalgamation of Sith Alchemy and science before him. It was some sort of Terentatek, but it had semblances of machinery, it was some sort of cyborg. Valik's back hit the ground and raised his left hand, putting out as strong a bolt of lightning as he could muster, which was then transformed into Ion energy and launched at the beast. If Valik could reprogram the beast he'd have an undeniably strong servant,

But perhaps I should be thinking of my life right now. He said as a burning sensation his his left hand and his right was open, lightsaberless.

The lightsaber glanced off the ultrachrome breastplate rather pitifully. Sev3n let out hideous synthesized laughter from its vocabulator that rang with that dissonant bass which causes the stomach to vibrate. It continued on its charge, bringing its claws forward to shred the human, when suddenly a bolt of lightning-turned-ion energy slammed full into its face. The terentatek froze mid-swing. Sev3n's systems began to scramble before it shut everything down to prevent further damage.

The terentatek went to sleep and began falling forward. Toward @[member="Valik"]. All five thousand pounds of it.

The beast seemed outfitted with a lightsaber resistant armor, as his thrown lightsaber bounced harmlessly off of his frame. The Ion blast however, seemed to neutralize the beast quite effectively. Perhaps too effectively. Valik thought to himself as the beast began to plummet on top of him. Valik, reasoning that he likely couldn't hold the beast up, instead used the force to violently throw himself backwards, almost getting himself out of the way in time, but the end of the beast just barely landed on his foot. After pulling his foot out and diagnosing it he realized that by some miracle it was not broken, but he was still not in walking condition.

Should I leave? Valik thought to himself, No, the beast was bested by an ion blast. I must have neutralized it's circuitry. If I can reprogram it . . . Valik thought to himself then crawled over to the beast and linked his datapad to it. Remarkably, the beasts programming was . . . incomplete. It seemed the AI existed in coincidence with the Terentatek, not in control of it. It must have wandered to this world by the myriad of Force users to fuel it's hunger. After spending a short time to decipher the ancient coding language used by the beast, he put in four simply commands, in order of importance.

I. Obey Valik.
II.Serve the Empire
III.Kill the Jedi
IV. Survive

They were simple commands, one Valik could mold to his desires should they need to change, as he couldn't leave the code open as it was. So he spent the next several hours putting in firewalls, viruses, and other deterrents to other would-be hackers. No one would have Valik's prize but him. After completing the rigorous programming, he climbed onto the beast and activated it.

"You know who I am. I need one of the crystals deeper in the caverns. They are alive, and they feel the Force. You will take one alive, for my purposes, but you may feast on the rest if you need. Afterwards you will take the crystal and myself to the ship, and we shall head for Ossus. You have a purpose now, do not fail me."
