Meanwhile in Balmorra...

This was a strange life. In the past, he went to that planet, but he never actually saw the world by anything besides the people. But now, there he was again, watching calmly through a window, standing tall and still, waiting for better or worse in this meeting that would occur. But, with no set mind in that, Iedolas kepted himself watching out of that window, not looking for his contact, but looking at the tall buildings and filth spreading through Balmorra. Making him think how could someone live that way? So far away of the green woods.

All that green, wild, untamed life. He dreamed of a untouched world, that his elzeri ancestors would have died to see and feel again, when roaming through the galaxy in search of a world to settle. They didn’t had any wild forests like those in Kaikielius, he thought privately to himself, they had thick woods, with big and sturdy oaks, gushy rivers and deadly wildlife, but nothing that big. “Ain’t life strange?”, he almost could smile by his own remark, for after all, he was descended of a wood people, a kind that lived and died in woods before losing their homeworld, wherever it was.

“Bring me a drink, if you be so kind.”, he murmured to his aide, not far from where his own steward was, Halim Ondore IV standing tall with his head high. The service droid rushed to do what was asked of him, serving in a golden goblet with his personal casket of wine. Delivering the cup in his hand with a small reverence to his royal being. Iedolas rose the goblet slowly to his lips, barely touching the wine and sipping a small amount of the red delicacy.

The Interstellar protectorate was certainly an interesting thing, it had risen to power on it's world rather quickly and despite not seeming to have done anything with many outside powers had somehow amassed quite a significant amount renown for itself. As of today it seemed the principality had finally decided to reach out to other powers, it's leader and head of state [member="Primarch Iedolas"] organizing a meeting on the industrial world of Balmorra with the Current Vice Chancelor and Harley Fenstermacher.

As of the moment the two high ranking Republic Members walked through the halls of the HCLI headquarters/governmental building on the planets surface. "Well form what I know this meeting is more a first contact and relations discussion then anything else, not sure if future trade or Republic membership is on the table anytime soon, I also believe that the Pimarch is a force user to, so that may make things interesting". it seemed these days most single planet governments were run by some sort of powerful force user, mainly dark siders. Not something he'd really mind though in most cases the act of it seemed to throw democratic elections out the widow, with said people claiming power due to old monarchy rules or just through military might or the use of their force powers.

Either way impressions would be kept unbiased until they actually met this man.

Balmorra was an interesting planet to say the least. Considered more of a waste planet where many people of poor conditions were sent to either die or live out their days in one of the many industrial complexes. Tobias knew the planet was needed, it was pumping out weapons for the New Republic Armed Forces, and they were growing quick. Senator [member="Harley Fenstermacher"] seemed to have everything under control as well. She was a capable individual, and by Tobias understanding she was incorruptible and sometimes companies would bend to her will. Being the individual in charge of H&C Logistics, many of the factories here were producing their designs, but the Senate also commissioned many of the standardized military equipment.

He was walking with the senator as they were talking, they were discussing the Interstellar Protectorate and their leader [member="Primarch Iedolas"]. An interesting individuals, but Tobias was to focus on the Commenor Issue that he was not well informed about the Core Factions. "Trade with them could help our economy even more, food stores are starting to be effected with the wave of refugees, and Republic ISI has not committed a lot of resources to the Core Worlds so their intentions are still a mystery to us." He rubbed his chin. "A force using leadership is interesting itself, and Force Users are not prohibited from running for senate either, but the IP is still a mystery for us and we need to feel out their intent before agreeing to anything."

He knew that leaving this to Senator Fenstermacher was the right idea, pretty much the lead on all diplomatic missions. She was the best person in the Republic to start talks with an unknown faction.

There was a language the nobility in Kaikielius spoke to one another when alone, the vahlarin, language that vahla secretly thought them and made them swear to never speak next to outsiders, it was so hard to understand vahlarin itself that the language was still a mystery for most protocol droids. If by any chance they found themselves anywhere near them they usually spoke elzerish: a old, charming and elegant language that the elzeri had no problems about others learning about it, but for his aide, the Steward of House Solidor, Marquis Halim Ondore IV, he chose to speak vahlarin next to his master’s ear. A warm and comfortable sound to Iedolas.

“This Republic is different from the Galactic Alliance.”, Iedolas still kept looking out the window, sipping from his cup now and then, “But then again, so are the Silver Jedi.” They both missed those days, days of joy and peace, times where Kaikielius had more to offer him, the days his beautiful Marianne shared the throne with him, long gone they were.

“And so are we.”, especially if they both compared the current events with the days his father had the throne. His free hand slowly raised and touched his necklace, caressing the voidstone attached to that was a habit he now had, he was still uncomfortable using that damn thing to this meetings.

It was true, the still sorry state of the core worlds was not getting any better, actually to some it was getting worse. With no major power in control of the core worlds and the Sith Empire and First Order getting so close it seemed every second planet was getting invaded or something along those lines. What was even more laughable was all these refugees coming to the New Republic. The same people from planets that condemned the formation of this new government that did not want any foreign power or new republic to spring up were now at their planets door steps begging for aid and to be taken in.

In hind sight the whole IP thing was a secondary task, though at the moment one which they could handle with relative ease. "Well regardless I'm more just glad we could take out time to talk with their leader, just hope the Mandos done try to invade while our backs are turned". "As for a force user, well he technically does not need to become the senator, someone else may very well become a representative in his case". "Not light it would be our first force using senator anyways", he replied with a short shurg, the two members reaching the doors to the meeting room, opening to reveal [member="Primarch Iedolas"] and his assistant.

"Good day to you Primarch Iedolas, its quite the pleasure to have you here, I apologize if the scenery is not the most delightful, but thousands of years of industrial pollution is quite hard to clean up". Even Harley found it a little troubling, Nar Hasska was no were near as industrialized and barren, and that was a largely wasteland, factory trading world. "Why don't we take a seat and get this meeting underway, I am certain we have much to talk about before the sun sets... not that you can really see it anyways".

The Senator was not wrong, and it was not as if the Vice Chancellor agreed with their way of thought. He use to be the Senator of Teth before the Republic moved to the Core and renamed itself to the New Republic. He served along side the Jedi that whole time, and thought they were still yet to prove their worth in his eyes. This relationship between them was about give and take, yet only a select few were offering their assistance to the Republic. It was not like the Core Worlds would be swayed just by the return of the heros that caused their pain.

However, that was for another day, he nodded to Senator [member="Harley Fenstermacher"] ended his sentence. A Force Using Senator was not out of the ordinary, there were records of there even being Force Using Chancellors. So long as they could be elected to the position, Tobias cared little of how they were brought to that point.

Following the lead of the Senator to meet with [member="Primarch Iedolas"] he nodded and waited for the others to sit before seating himself. "Greeting and Good Health Primarch, I am Vice Chancellor Tobias Dracks and would very much like to continue the good will of these meetings for the prosperity of out nations."

For the Bank of the Core, company that Iedolas and the rest of the Sanctum members owned, the Core meant a fortune. Buying small banks in planets, forcing them to become subsidiaries to the greater one and strengthening their ties, his goal was to control every single banking system in the Core and the Inner Rim, becoming the greatest bank in this side of the galaxy. He cared not for the Core, for him and for the Sanctum, money was the only currency they were interested in this matter, refugee ships could always be destroyed in space or kicked off their own system, Kaikielius had no love for them like most of the Tapani nobles.

As the door opened, Iedolas continued to look at the window, caressing his voidstone necklace gently as he watched the ships flying in the sky and the woman started to speak. Words that his steward, Halim paid very much attention to her words, probably noticing how they did not used the proper honorifics to speak to them both. ‘Not our planet, not our ways.’, he thought to himself, still looking at the window without turning to gaze upon them. His Marquis, calmly said to both.

“And I’m Marquis Halim Ondore IV. His Majesty and myself are glad to be here.”, as they talked about sitting, Halim noticed that Iedolas did not moved a muscle away from the window, going next to him and saying while bowing, calling his attention. “Your Radiance?”

Slowly Iedolas moved from there, while the droid pulled his chair and he sitted, relaxed in his chair, hands beneath the table. The Marquis sat by his side, his violet eyes were looking at the Vice Chancellor, that strange and odd whatever alien species he was, going from that face to the one the echani called Harley had.

“Indeed we do, much to discuss.”, the Marquis said already in his place.

It did not take long for Harley to figure out his initial greeting was no up to scratch, the mans own introduction making such pretty clear. 'Ah, all theses nobles and their high and mighty titles'. He got the feeling that this was the type of ruler that was above everything else and it's people, almost on god stature along with being a force user. 'This is going to be and interesting talk, I hope I don't have to say that every time we talk to him', this was the first time Harley had spoken with another planetary leader.

Taking a seat Harley pulled out a data pad to take notes but also bring up what information he knew about the Interstellar Protectorate, giving a few seconds for the other two to get comfortable before starting. "With greetings out of the way I guess we shall start off with one basis question, may I ask the specific reasoning behind you want to open up a diplomatic channel with the Republic". His voice more directed at Marquis, it seemed he was more the spokesman for his 'radiance' then anything else.

"I for one do not know much about your planetary kingdom, as such it would be beneficial to learn a little more about each other's respective governments before continuing on with this meeting".

[member="Primarch Iedolas"] [member="Tobias Dracks"]

Tobias figured this would happen with meeting the individual that was there with them currently. These Inner Worlds always had a power play to get at at some point in the meeting. Tobias would not let that slide as they were rather important to the Republic for both strategic and militaristic reasons.

He only bowed his head to the [member="Primarch Iedolas"], "Apologies for our greetings your Radiance, it would seem that your aid did not properly inform us of the cultural difference before this meeting was agreed on." Recovering from his head bow he took a seat as well. "The positive relations between Kaikielius and the New Republic is very important to us and I hope it can be reciprocated."

Hearing Senator [member="Harley"] Fenstermacher state she did not know a lot about the planet was interesting, the planet was difficult to miss on many star maps. It was very important to the Core Worlds none the less however, and they very much knew that. "Senator Fenstemacher, Kikiekius is a very important planet among other things, not only is it very rich economically, but it is also important strategically, both its placement and reliability has made it very rich since the fall of the One Sith years ago, not only is it the only way to get to Coruscant from the Deep Core, it also has a strong economy relying of a constant flow of credits, though I am unfamiliar with how your planet was able to gain its wealth in the years," He looked at the Primarch, "Transporting Carbanite and strong trade ties don't make a strong economic power in a few short years, I must say that your majesty must be a great leader indeed."
