A remote Outer Rim city was the very last place she had expected to find a McYoda’s.

Nevertheless, recognizing that she had miscalculated the ubiquity of the galaxy-wide fast food chain, Alessandra gave a facsimile of a sigh as she made her way into the dining area, her bodysuit-clad form partially concealed beneath a crop jacket. However, unlike the small number of patrons sitting or waiting inside the dining area, the HRD hadn’t come for food (even though she derive sustenance from it), but rather, to throw off her pursuers. The Chaplain had been chased from the moment she left the Jewel of Panatha after the gathering had exploded into violence. She hadn’t killed anyone, but it hadn’t taken the Sith long to figure out that she was worth pursuing, if only for her close relationship to the Parliament as one her favored daughters.

Capture the daughter, and the mother would soon come running.

Even so, Alessandra knew that this particular McYoda’s might be where the chase came to its conclusion, for better or for worse. She couldn’t return to Khemost and risk exposing the world’s location with such persistent hunters on her tail. Soon, she might have to prove that she wasn’t worth the danger of pursuit and capture. In her mind, the best way to achieve that was in demonstrating her capacity for violence.

Not long after entering, Alessandra moved to the touchscreen and tapped in an order for a large vanilla shake, before taking a seat at a secluded booth near the back of the dining area. Regardless of how the next few moments played out, the Chaplain needed only to wait for her fate to be decided.

Things were never simple in the Sith, always rivalries and new enemies making themself known. Lirka troubled herself with their petty conflicts little, until they mattered to her of course. And this House Io debacle had proven greatly interesting, more so because of the presence of one Alessandra Io Alessandra Io whom Lirka had battled before.

And nothing was more interesting than a well made machine. The Sith wanted the servants of the house destroyed, tortured, punished, so on and so forth: but Lirka had other ideas in mind. The mechanisms of these living-machines would be a useful tool if she could get her hands on them, and so, she followed as a hunter does, lead to the Outer Rim.

The HRD’s choice of establishment disgusted her, such useless waste. Nutrient paste was the only thing the Strong needed to survive, none of this…so-called-foodstuffs. Not letting her disdain for fast-food cloud her mind, Lirka approached the entrance to the establishment. Forced to duck low to avoid smacking her helmet on the entrance, now standing tall: her glowing eyes scanned the establishment until they fell upon the droid.

“Lady Io. Just who I was hoping to find.”

Her distorted words had a sickeningly fake friendliness to them.

Her shake had arrived mere moments before the hulking slaver entered the restaurant.

A poor, nervous cook brushed her way past the towering figure that was Lirka Ka Lirka Ka , before retreating back to the kitchen area, not daring to challenge either of the two opposing figures staring each other down in the seating area. For her part, Alessandra took a long sip of her vanilla shake as the huntress spoke, her voice distorted and sickening in its uncanny register.

“I’d recognize that armor anywhere.” Alessandra began. “The Slavemaster of Moridinae or at least, someone who killed her and stole the armor. Regardless, your exploits against the beskar barbarian clans are nothing short of impressive. If the Eternal Empire had been half as ruthless as you during their war they might have crushed the Enclave in its cradle.” The Chaplain commented idly, before taking another sip of her shake. Against a huntress of this caliber, she very well might need the energy.

“Who sent you?” Alessandra asked. However, she gave the monster no time to answer. Harnessing the tractor pressor organs in her hands, Alessandra immediately forced her shake towards the slaver’s head from ten meters away, aiming to break the plastic cup open on her helmet, potentially covering the huntress in vanilla shake mix!

"Governor. If I am to be pedantic."

The sort of dryness Lirka passed as humor, she stayed still: waiting for whoever would make the first move, this sort of reactionary start was the same sort of trick Lirka had tried pulling before. A calm before the storm, if one wanted to get metaphorical with things. The flattery the machine laid on her was nice, it wasn't often someone had the historical know-how to acknowledge just how effectively she had obliterated Moridinae. But sadly, she was here on much more pressing matters.

Just as she was to answer the question the drink went flying, and Alessandra Io Alessandra Io didn't have to hope for the cup to break at all: for in an instant Lirka's blade flared to life and lashed out to cut the thing in half, splattering herself with its contents with a disgusted grunt. Even as she moved to wipe the now half-boiling liquid away she still answered the droid.

"You may expect the Sith, but Lirka Ka works of her own volition. I come of my own accord."

Now, the matter of how much one could really trust Lirka was always going to be in question.

All eyes in the McYoda’s shifted towards the two opposing figures.

The smart ones turned to leave, but others pulled out their personal devices and began to record the encounter—mobile phones, datapads, and holopads, their owners blissfully unaware of or too stupid to recognize the peril.

For her part, Alessandra did not deign to warn them of the coming danger, for they were neither family nor allies.

The Chaplain bemoaned the loss of her shake, but sacrificing it had given her valuable information that she might be able to leverage to her advantage. Within a few cycles transpiring over only a couple milliseconds, the HRD had processed all that she could from the ex-Governor’s weapon. The monster was fast with it, to such an extent that the movement of cutting open the shake might have been a blur to Alessandra’s senses were she of a less advanced design. Fortunately, its reach might prove to be a disadvantage, if she could draw her opponent into tight quarters, such as the kitchen area.

"Governor. If I am to be pedantic."

“I stand corrected then, Governor of Moridinae.” Alessandra said, a facsimile of a sweet, friendly smile coming over her inhumanly doll-like features as she did. Simultaneously, coruscating arcs of electricity began to dance along the Chaplain’s hands. Then, with a snap of motion the HRD leveled her arms towards the ex-Governor as electricity exploded out from her fingertips, the smell of burning ozone thick in the air as twin blue-white bolts of galvanic energy lanced forth, aimed to strike @Lirka Ka’s chest from ten meters away. In doing so, Alessandra sought to unleash a simple and brutal strike, delivered with the aim of electrocuting the slaver via sheer amperage output—enough to feasibly cook a rancor alive from the inside out.
