DESCRIPTION

MC-CES-001 stands for Manufacturing Complex, Cestus, Facility 001. This was the first factory constructed by Cestus Cybernetics, which was then upgraded to a uniform model following the company’s transition to the Hegemonic Automaton namesake.

As with all HA factories, it is primarily subterranean. This means that all of the important manufacturing and metalworking takes place beneath the surface. Large automated assembly lines churn out thousands of droids each day, which are then packed into containers and brought to the surface via large turbolifts. They are then stored on the surface until they are ready for transport to a HA distribution center.

The surface of the factory is a large space encompassed by a towering electric fence where rock formations do not already prohibit entrance. There are no doors or gaps in the fence. Combined with its remote location in the hostile Cestian badlands, this makes it difficult to infiltrate the factory inconspicuously while on foot. Watch towers are located periodically along the fence. A WorldArmor 4 Defensive Shield Generator protects the facility from unwarranted aerial assault, in conjunction with a quintet of Preserver Defensive Turrets.

Within the fence are large buildings. Most of these are warehouses, which contain completed droids awaiting shipment. Outside of this are dormitories and small recreation centers for the organic personnel that reside on-site. Finally, there are the “barracks” and armory where the security droids and their armaments are stored until needed. A number of TA1s and TA2s are kept on-site permanently as a security precaution.

Within the actual underground confines, there are a second barracks and armory in addition to the various rooms where production takes place. A smaller amount of the droid security forces are kept down there for speedier response to anything that happens to slip underground. Also underground is the secure computer server where Hegemonic blueprints are stored.

The blast door to gain entrance to this room is kept magnetically sealed at all times. The room is also powered by a separate generator for security purposes. Entrance to the room is off-limits on all but the most rare occasions, as a special code is required to get in. The code is changed monthly, with half of it being known by a randomly selected Darkwater security guard and the other half known by the TA3 Tactical Droid stationed at the factory. The only Darkwater security guard with knowledge of who holds the other half of the code is the Darkwater security guard who physically holds the code, as well as the TA3 Tactical Droid.

Before inputting this code, however, the keypad must be accessed. There are ten switches incorporated into ten different terminals across the entire factory, ranging from anywhere to inside one of the warehouses to within the refresher of a recreation center. Two of these switches must be activated to expose the hidden keypad, which is concealed within the walls of the facility. Which combination of switches is needed is changed daily, and known only to the TA3 Tactical Droid stationed at the factory.

Both switches must be activated within ten minutes for the keypad to be exposed. If this does not happen, the combination of switches immediately changes. The switches are almost always on opposite ends of the complex.

HISTORY

MC-CES-001 was the first factory established by Cestus Cybernetics when it was founded by Hannibal Oryen and Zothustro Quill. Once the transition was made from Cestus Cybernetics to Hegemonic Automaton, the security systems and protocols were drastically redone to offer more protection against saboteurs and terrorists. MC-CES-001 now serves as the model which all Hegemonic Automaton manufacturing complexes adhere to.

I am having flashbacks of LT Surge with the switch

If you could include a link to Darkwater itself please.

The Shield generator I would like to see something for, you have used this facility in other rps. If you have it detailed and laid out.

And please use a type of shield generator as it could be open to abuse on what it can protect from. Or if there is a chao's shield generator created use that.
