Tall, slim, and athletically toned. Maya has light olive skin, brown eyes, and black hair that is normally worn long. She is usually seen in clothing that is comfortable and worn, but not overly tattered or torn. Her gaze is generally hard, and her expressions tend to border on stern. She has a beauty mark at the corner of her left eye.
BIOGRAPHY:
Though she knows she was actually born on Atrisia, but as far as she’s concerned, she’s not from anywhere. Her father owned a small shipping company that quickly turned into a smuggling operation. Maya and her mother lived from ship to ship as they accompanied him. Despite the fact that he didn’t like to put his family in danger, he felt that their presence legitimized his business and often made him less suspect.
Growing up aboard a freighter made for an interesting childhood. She quickly became accustomed to seeing the shady side of business. At the time, it all seemed like a game to her -- hiding treasures aboard their family’s ship. It didn’t really hit home that they were in danger, until a deal went south. They were lucky to escape with their lives.
Teenage Maya often found herself behind the wheel of their ship. She would spend long nights awake, just staring at the stars. It was a lonely existence, for she had never been able to stay in one place long enough to make friends. And as she grew older, there were no meaningful relationships, only one night stands. That is, until one summer during her early twenties, when she met a man known as the Seoulian Snake -- the leader of an underground fighting ring. The two dated on and off for a couple of years, but things came to a final close when war broke out between the First Order and the Alliance. For someone that wanted to lie low and stay off the radar, the Snake's home world was now suddenly off limits... not even love was worth it.
After her mother and father eventually came to settle down, Maya wasn’t content to stay in once place for long. She felt best among the stars, and traveling from place to place... just like they had always done. And so, she decided to start her own business. With a new freighter to her name, she goes where there’s work, and where there’s credits
