[+]Old Soldier: Matthew has been within one military or another for the last two decades. Starting off in Coruscants Planetary defense forces then making his way into the Republic Military, and finally finishing off by retiring into the Coruscant Security Forces. Matt has been in one army or another for most of his life, and thus he excels in soldiering and all crafts that come with it.
[+]Staunch Morals: Matthew is a moralist. He believes in the good of people and thinks that everyone deserves a chance. Because of these beliefs he's often an outcast in most military units, while most soldiers wouldn't care about the orphanage they may accidentally hit, Matthew would go miles out of his way to save every single one of those orphans without question.
[-]Age: Matthew is only a single Human male born on Coruscant. There is nothing special about him, nothing grand, and nothing that stops him from aging. Matt is getting on in years and is no longer able to fight as he used to. His movements are slowed, his mind is becoming more lax, and his hearing is almost completely gone due to the years of war he has suffered through.
[-]Left Leg: Due to an old War Injury, Matthew requires a cane to move around. This is obviously massively detrimental in combat situations, and thus has forced Matthew to retire from his work as a soldier.

Matthew looks like an average middle aged human male.
He has brown hair, brown eyes, and white skin. His hair is closely cropped on his head, hiding several scars from various head injuries endured during battles against the Sith Empire. Along with this he has a grizzled expression and a look of a stern scowl on his face almost at all times. His lips are almost permanently turned downward and he seems to harbor a mistrust of pretty much anyone that comes near him.
Other than that, there's really no distinguishing factors that set Matthew apart from other humans of Coruscant.
BIOGRAPHY:
Matthew was born on Coruscant several years before the formation of the Republic. He was taught by his parents to be loyal beyond all question to his planet first. Coruscant being the jewel of the Galaxy was the most valuable prize one could hold, and because of its value it needed to be protected. Matthew believed in this ideal more than anything else, and all of his life he has had but one goal, protect the people of Coruscant, and protect Coruscant itself.
For years he toiled away for this, at first in the Planetary Defense Forces of the massive city world, then in the massive Republic Military.
He fought against the Mandalorians, he fought against the Sith, he fought against any and all that stood against the Republic, for the good of the people, and for the good of Coruscant. He did this until the Republics war with the Sith Empire came to and end. Believing, like many others, that the threat against the Republic had most been neutralized, Matthew retired to the Coruscant Security Forces, making a life as a simple patrol officer, something that suited him with his current age.
Things changed however when the One Sith came.
As massive Yuuzhan Vong and ancient Vessels appeared over the skies of Coruscant Matthew immediately knew that things would never be the same. The One Sith took Coruscant in a matter of days, conquering the world in mere moments and causing Matthews heart to sink. Everything he had worked for, everything he had tried to keep his entire life, was taken from him in the blink of an eye.
Now all Matthew Seeks is revenge.
