(I could not find an image that was for a woman - believe it or not looking for metal arms on women gets creepy very fast - and none of them were clawed either. Please bear with me, as this image is an otherwise perfect representation!)

Intent: To provide Matsu with a replacement for her left arm after severing it in a fit of madness from a force-induced vision.

Development Thread: None, but can be created if needed.

Manufacturer: Fringe metallurgists and surgeons

Model: Cybernetic Replacement Arm

Affiliation: Personal, Matsu

Modularity: Minor, mostly aesthetic and repairs.

Production: Unique

Material: Durasteel, Titanium

Description: Matsu tried to sever her arm with a piece of metal in a force-induced hallucination, leaving her with bone and tissue. Her injury occured on a Fringe-controlled world, allowing her to recieve quick enough medical attention to save her life once she had come to enough to call for help, though not any tissue she had flayed from herself. The surgeons worked to save as much of the existing flesh as possible, grafting the metal to what was left of bone, muscle, and skin to create the appendage.

The replacement behaves like a real arm in most ways and was easily controlled, allowing for normal reflexes and range of motion. It was stronger than the original, capable of damaging vise-like grips and devastating punches. The fingers also ended in sharp, pointed claws.

However the arm was slightly heavier than the original. Her left arm was not her dominant one and the weight was something she learned to work through, but it did make her slower in combat when it came to using that arm. For all intents and purposes it was just as vulnerable to damage as any other human arm - it could be damaged by lightsabers and blasters. It was also susceptible to any attacks or weapons utilizing electric elements which could short out the arm's inner workings.
