I can understand your concerns about activity, but I've been more active since my return to the SJO earlier this year, participating in doms (along with submitting proposals) and faction threads that included skirmishes. I've also worked hard at recruiting members, and drumming up activity for our latest dom by getting four new people to post to it. Outside of yourself, I've probably submitted more codex and factory subs for use by the SJO more than anyone else active, which does take up some of my time. I do talk a lot about my plans, but to be fair, I also submit my plans on the board for review and criticism. Some plans don't come to fruition because there's no support for them, that's just how it goes.
A lot of the posts where I left you hanging were tech dev posts, which are honestly soul crushing as far as writing goes. I don't enjoy that format of writing, and neither did most of the board, which is why dev threads were effectively eliminated. Because of that fact, I've been able to focus almost wholly on writing threads from a story and development from a purely character standpoint, which definitely helps me stay on track. I really like what I've done
here, and would like you to read through it (to be continued in a private thread).
As for other posts, I was just dealing with a lot having to manage the GR where I had a good portion of the board attacking the faction in one way or another. That was depressing, and almost drove me off the site. There was a lot of days where I just wouldn't login because I hated how nasty people were being, and it was causing me to become toxic in turn, which is what made me step away for a bit. I'm in a better spot now, and I'm really trying to keep up with things and push threads to keep moving along where I can.
On the IC front, Arisa is going to bump heads with a lot of your characters because she more open minded about accepting alternate ideas about how a Jedi should comport themselves, while also wishing to be more proactive in fighting Sith. She tries not to be judgemental when people slip up, and instead seeks ways to try to help them improve. She believes taking a hardline black and white approach doesn't do anything but drive away people, which has happened before. At the same time, she finds characters like Matsu hypocritical, because they like to chide other Jedi for acting a certain way while they themselves perform questionable acts. I'm sorry if you don't like the way I write my character, but I don't think that should be held against me.
