- Personality: Just as capable of reasoned conversation as unfathomable rage Marshal Iblis is a man of many contradictions. He is utterly convinced of his own righteousness and completely uncompromising in his beliefs. In his insane quest for power to enforce his own twisted perception of the Law, Bane has consorted with dark forces that have left an indelible mark on his character.

Bane Iblis was a former Green Jedi turned Judge when the One Sith took everything from him. He swore never to lift a saber again for past failures but that hasn't stopped him from dispensing some outer rim justice over the past decade. In 856 ABY Marshal Iblis disappeared on assignment tracking down a phantom distress call in the Kathol Rift. Since then scattered sightings have confirmed his involvement in half a dozen atrocities including the murder of several Judges. Iblis wasn't the first to go over the edge but he is the most infamous and further evidence that Dark Judges are not an isolated phenomenon.
He still fights for 'justice' but now the marshal deals in mass executions and planetary coups. Men like Bane believe that the only way to truly enforce lasting order is to become the very kind of tyrant they swore a vow to oppose. Any who stand in his way are no different than criminals and that includes the OPA. He believes the Alliance is not radical enough and only consorts with crews that may as well be pirates. ORION agents believe he was responsible for the blockade at Bpfassh and a pattern of recent bombings originally attributed to the Agents of Chaos.
