+/-Resilience: Though she will not run away and refuse to deal with stressors, new stressors have been known to make her 'check out', leaving a vacant-looking husk of a girl behind, until something draws or snaps her out of it.

Horrified, she joined to one of the foremost causes of the Imperium - the eradication of the Sith. However, she still loved her father, and it interfered with her dedication to that cause, playing into her self-doubt, and making the decision to leave the crumbling Imperium easier. She abandoned the murderous intents of the Imperium at the same time.

History:
--The Journey to a Decision--
Born on Morellia to Renea and Marsos Urstalis, Lia had a fairly happy childhood, wanting for nothing, but being taught to not take what she had for granted - a lesson hard to learn, that would take many years to finally have its impact. Despite this happiness, she lived in the shadow of her sister, her senior by six years and the heir of their matriarchal house, and thus the centre of attention. The effects of this on Marselia were not lost on her father, and soon enough he began to use this to his advantage. Marsos Urstalis had a secret - he was Sith, and in his second daughter he saw an opportunity, and began to influence her in subtle, imperceptible ways. Bit by bit, he planned to indoctrinate her fully to the ways of the Sith, such that by the time she reached adulthood she would be easily swayed to be his pawn, and his apprentice.
That, however, was not to be. Shortly after Lia's sixteenth birthday, her father was murdered while on on Bastion for business - at the hands of the Fel Imperium that ruled the territory. From there it all poured out. Lia learned everything about her father that he had kept hidden: that he was of the darkness, and his business on Bastion was one of murder itself, one of many misdeeds that he had performed without a single drop of knowledge of his actions reaching his family. The effects on his family because of it were unpleasant, but not devastating, thanks to the interests and influence of Aledaer Engwen - a childhood sweetheart of her mother's, and a man powerful in ways right and different from that of Lia's father. The romance between her mother and Aledaer was swift, and they were married within three months, with Renea giving birth to fraternal twins by her new husband, some seven months after their marriage.
Lia, however, wrestled with what her father had been, in the face of her love for him... as well as the fact that she was his daughter. Worry over following in his footsteps set in, and though she tried to be content in life carrying on without him, she couldn't shake her concerns. At the age of eighteen, she set out alone in the ship she had been granted for her birthday, to 'find herself', and soon enough, she found herself with the decision of what to do with her life, at which point the deeds of her father came to the forefront of her thoughts. It did not take long to decide, and she found herself in the realm of the very people that had him killed.
--The Fel Imperium--
Seeing their ideals felt acceptable, in line with what she wanted - to not be so twisted beyond recognition as her father had been, and to make sure it would happen to no-one else - she went to this extreme, flying on behalf of the Fel Imperium. Here she met Jared Starchaser, another pilot (and her superior officer), and Ashtara Starweaver, a pilot as well and an old friend of Jared's. It was not long before she came to realize her love for flying, and the ease with which she could do it - but it was apparent neither to her, nor her friends, that this was a facet of her ability with the Force.
The truth was - she was avoiding the training. Her concerns over becoming like her father kept her from going anywhere near trying to learn to make focused use of what she was gifted with, and she made sure to stay out of it by racking up tens, and soon hundreds of hours in the cockpit between the simulators and the real thing. She would take patrols, shuttle duty... anything, to avoid it, and all the while it slowly became apparent to her that going around murdering Sith without trial would not accomplish what she needed for herself.
Soon enough, however, it became clear that the Fel Imperium was falling apart, and when Jared saw it too, they went to Ashtara, and anyone else they had bonded with, eventually taking it upon themselves to leave, making their new home aboard the ship of Jared Starchaser's family, the Dawn Treader, where they lived for months, setting their own schedules and choosing where they would go and what they would do.
Eventually, they would find themselves within the influence of the Fringe Confederacy, and after considering their options, Lia, Jared, Ashtara, and the crew of the Dawn Treader opted to join the cause of the Lords of the Fringe.
