BIOGRAPHY:
Marsaun was born on Tatooine to a slave named Tami Timbago and her owner, a wealthy moister farmer named Gregor Rofgaz. While Marsaun was still in the womb, Gregor became worried that his accidental impregnation of Tami, through forceful means, would eventually spark a rebellion of the slaves he owned and had working on his farm. He kept Tami locked away from the rest of the slaves, hoping word of her pregnancy would not spread before he sold her off. Tami lived in despicable conditions, getting barely enough nutrition to keep her and the unborn Marsuan alive. Thankfully this would last on a few days before Gregor found a buyer.
The moister farmer sold the female to a local Hutt Gangster, who was unaware of the woman’s pregnancy. Gregor knew that this could result in the slave’s death or his own, but he was too blinded by fear of losing his farm to care about either outcome. Tami was shipped to the Hutt’s palace outside of anchorhead, her pregnancy not showing yet. However, as she was working as an exotic dancer for the Hutt it was not long before her carrying of another life became obvious. She was deathly afraid of what would happen and all the worst possibilities ran rampant through her mind. However, much to her surprise and delight, the Hutt took pity on her and allowed her the proper treatment and rest required of a pregnant mother. Little did she know, he only did this because she was his favorite performer.
Months later, Marsaun was born and the Hutt allowed him and his mother to stay within the palace. As long as she continued to be obedient to the Hutt, she and her son were always welcome. Alternatively, if she angered the Hutt he would punish her son instead. It was a love-hate relationship, but Tami knew that her continued work within the palace would allow her and her son a good living.
Growing up, Marsaun was constantly around bounty hunters, gangsters and slaves. People expected him to fall into the lifestyle, but his mother always taught him that what he was growing up around was bad. No one in his life pushed him to go into the underworld of the galaxy, as the Hutt saw him as little more than a wandering pet he needed not to pay attention to. So, he naturally listened to his mother’s words and found himself running away to anchorhead as often as he could to play with other children as his mother instructed he do.
Over time he became more and more attuned to the realization that his mother was a slave against her will, but he would never let her know that he was aware. Instead, he did his best to take his mind off the dreadful facts of life and searched for a hobby outside of the crime world. This search sank him into a depression as he could not find anything that interested him and he felt as if he had no usefulness in the galaxy. Seeing this depression, a young female friend, Emi, took him to a podrace to try and cheer him up. At the time he was 16 and had never before been to a podrace, so he expected little when he first arrived. However, fate had a different idea and the thrill of the track soon took its hold of the young man. He loved everything about it, the excitement, the speed and most of all, the mechanics behind the pods themselves.
From then on he and Emi traveled to mechanics and racers all over Anchorhead, learning all that they could about pods. The two grew closer and closer and Mursaun continued to become a mechanical genius. After his mother grew ill and died, Mursaun ran to Anchorhead and never returned to the palace. During his grief he and Emi decided to marry at the ages of 18. Mursaun supported the two by working for pod racers, fixing and upgrading their pods until he was able to save the money to buy a pod of his own at 26. At first it was a side hobby for extra money here and there, but it steadily grew into much, much more than that.
When he and Emi tried to have a child, they discovered that a genetic defect within Emi would never allow her to bare a baby. Mursaun again was stricken with depression and began racing more and more to suppress his grief. He still loved his wife, but the reality that they could not have a child was soul crushing. The two slowly grew apart and it came to a head when Emi tried to leave him when they were both 34. She was going to take a handful of credits and move off planet. However, on her way to Mos Eisley on a speeder, she decided she could not live without him. She had the driver turn around to head back to Anchorhead where she would wait at home like nothing had happened…she would never make it back. A tusken raider tribe ambushed her on her way back and she was killed with the speeder driver was killed and the vehicle crashed into a large rock.
The following years would be more of the usual, depression and grief and attempts to find ways to keep his mind off of it all. The mechanical genius would eventually leave Tatooine to attend a school for mechanical engineering, only to return with a new idea that he wishes to present to the CIS.

So, this is how it is. Decades of acting like a damn fool had finally paid off. The CIS has given me the grant I was looking for and it was a nice chunk of change, more than enough to get Mechanized Motors up and started. Hell, they basically handed me some low production military factories and said "have fun". Production will be slow and steady at first, but i don't mind, it is all worth the wait and I know that fact well. When the company has finally gotten on its feet, I can begin the EMI and finally bring some kind of closure to the nightmare that has haunted me for so long. Just thinking of her makes me want to sit down and cry, there was so much left unspoken...so much left undone. That is why I'm starting this audio journal, to be sure that I never leave anything unspoken again. I hope to the force that I have the sense to keep it up to date...time will tell I suppose.
