Biography: Marn'Adaz'Arrarc was born near the epicenter of the Netherworld opening on Csilla. Having had to grow up during times of violent uncertainty for the Chiss Ascendancy. He has only known life as to crawl his way for it. From often as a time as he could remember. He recollected ever since he was small, he often searched for food in waste bins or hid from the never ending chaos that was the rise and fall of his own people through the chaos that was the Netherworld event, the One Sith rule, the Jen'ari's rule and subsequent invasion often having to keep his head low in fear. For when there came such a time for him to rise from such meager beginnings and living in such squalor. Adaz surely took the oppurtunity. Seeking anywhere to be of use and to never grow hungry or cold again. Adaz signed up for the expeditionary unit of the Ascendancy.

To take a risk at exploring the greater parts of the wider unknown regions. Of which some within the Ascendancy saw as a final frontier of sorts, others saw it as nothing more than a one mission, for Adaz it was a way out of lifelong poverty and strife. Signing up with a small crew they were placed in a scouting vessel and soon departed for known space. For the next eighteen months there was nothing more than silence. Until the crew had been given a transmission. A distress signal of sorts that came with a message. Telling of savagery and heathenism that lurked within the darkest places of the regions. Those that stood in the path was given one message and one message only. "Covert or die a heretic." That same message that came along with the distress. For not much was known except a name. The Brotherhood of the Maw. Despite objections and misgivings from the crew, despite some talk of going back to Chiss space to warn the Ascendancy of the darkness that was rising. The crew especially Adaz was hungry to seek more answers that came from the mysterious message that had graced them.

If only they had turned back, for after a week of searching They located what looked to be a scout ship of unknown design. In such a bold and risky move deciding to follow it. Only for a hyperspace jump later lead them back to the home of the Maw. A mobile capital of sorts known as "The Holy City." A station of strange origin and design that housed the faith and headquarters of the Maw. They tried in desperate attempt to turn back but were swarmed by the brutal marauders instead of being outright destroyed. The ship was boarded with the arrival of hallucigenic and deadly poison gas bringing forth with them knocking out or in some instances killing some of the crew. Adaz was one that was captured.

For days he was kept in cramped slave pens, starved and even sometimes beaten, before the time was finally right to be brought before the leaders of the Maw. The holy collective known as the Heathen Priests. Brought to them as some sort of unique specimen. One that carried information, the next step towards what they called at times "The Great Journey" First they asked him, and when he said nothing, he was beaten once more but he would not speak. Even one of the guards went as far as to pluck out one of the eyes from the Chiss. Still he said nothing. It was only until when they brought his friends and crew, a tortured mutiliated mess. The priests laughing that they were too weak to be made useful converts that did he finally broke. Pleading to let them go. Instead they thanked him for what information he divulged about who he was, what his friends were, and what species he was.

Instead of the priests letting them go. The crew or what was left of them were executed on the spot. Adaz crying out in anguish and left to rot. Tortured and starved until he finally broke in a fit of insanity and killing one of the guards. Taking his blade, the guards did not strike back but explained to Adaz that within the Maw. "You kept what you killed." The priests finally revealing that it was time for Adaz to be made a convert. Broken he accepted the new found race as his own. Now lost to bouts of violent tendencies and even to some extent insanity. Now indulged the priests in what information he had. What the Chiss Ascendancy was and where Csilla was. Explaining that the Great Journey takes a leap forward with Csilla's destruction. For such information and a test of his loyalty Adaz was named "The Pathfinder" The first of many in a vanguard force that followed the Nihil of old. Scouting and striking first in preparation for the Maw to arrive.

Personality: Once an adventurous young man, only seeking of a better life beyond the trampled upstarts of his world. He once saw his future with hope among the stars. Often taking a more kind and compassionate view on those that ventured with him to explore beyond Chiss space. He soon changed when captured by the Maw. Often seeing himself as a self proclaimed holy man. Thinking that by sacred duty he would lead the Maw on the Great Journey by seeing the destruction of both the Chiss and the government they held. Ever since beiung converted, his mind was utterly broken. Often more prone to violent tendencies and insaity due to some part in testing new poison gases to test on his foes.
