Public Market Time on Dathomir

When there was a gathering of Witches, Brooke made sure she was in on it. Dathomir called to many, some native to the world, others not so much. She fell into the latter grouping. She found the world later in life, when the Jedi and the dark side were not part of the path for her. She carried the weapon of one, but it didn’t matter. She wasn’t of that life.

The blonde had landed her semi-sapeint vessel of hers amid the ruins of one of the castles on the world. It used to serve as a seat of power in the Witch Kingdom of old. Nowadays? It served as a location for Witches to meet, share knowledge, share supplies, and discuss their world. It was an ever changing and growing market, with stalls and Witches passing their trinkets.

Even off-worlders arrived, their ships parked a respectful distance away, and guarded from the likes of some of the Witches who would prefer to steal rather than barter.

Brooke came with some trinkets from off world. Precious gems, stones, seeds, things that could be cultivated on the world, or items to be used in spellcraft. The blonde smiled as she surveyed the market. Children running around, and laughing, not a bad thing. The challenge was, when the Nightsisters came in, it could be only a matter of time until things went south. But for now? Brooke was going to enjoy being back among Sisters.

It did not take long for a Nightsister to arrive. A young woman, covered in the crimson, form-fitting robes of a younger witch. Zorya Bohyne was strangely at peace. Returning to Dathomir after bekng out in the greater galaxy felt like bathing in water to remove filth one accrued in their travels. It was refreshing. The pale young woman circled the stalls, looking at the various wares. She was Dathomirian, in the sense that hers were Zabrak-blooded inhabitants like Talzin or Asajj before her.

"These are beautiful." She comments, gently inspecting one of the gems at Brooke's stall, "This one in particular would be a worthwhile focus for casting."

Despite the fact she was a Nightsister with duskblades sheathed at her sides, and a folded up lightbow on her back, she seemed strangely friendly. Zorya had grown up being raised to be respectful of the other tribes. They were, in fact, all daughters of Allya. It was the outsiders to be worried about. After turning the gem over and over, Zorya smirked.

"How much?" her accented voice asked, "I have offworlder credits. And a small bronzium ingot."
