Special Features-
1. Due to the failing of previous models, the new Nebulon B Frigate has been designed with extra armor plating in a layered format. The central section has been reinforced extensively to prevent the ship from being cut in half. This new system has been added to the rest of the ship as well.
2. The Mark VI Frigate has an interchangeable forward section. The forward most section of the vessel can be removed and replaced with a different module, allowing the frigate to be used in a number of different ways.
The Mark VI Nebulon B Frigate was designed to help secure the Iron Empires growing territories. The threat of small pirate ships and other dangers slipping through the gaps of the Iron Fleet, or evading them while they were busy dealing with larger threats warranted the creation of a ship to defend the interior, freeing up vital Star Destroyers from the menial task. The idea for the vessel was taken by the old Galactic Empires similar vessel, and modernized to suit the current needs of the Iron Empire. The addition of an interchangeable forward section was a last minute change request, to allow the Frigate to be modified to deal with a number of different threats, and handle multiple different tasks.

Far Sight: To help the Frigate with its patrol and support duties, the vessel has been fitted with extensive sensor suites to give it better range.
Heavy: Due to the extensive armor added to the Frigate, the ship is slow for its size.
Compliment: The added armor required the sacrifice of any space that could have been given to a hangar, forcing the frigate to rely on point defense weaponry and other ships to deal with fighters.
