Classification: Multipurpose
Weight: 34kg
Quality: 4
Other Feature(s):
- Ammo storage for featured weaponry
-Protective upper arm and shoulder areas
- Protective shin and kneeplating
DESCRIPTION:
Tailored to the operative's individual needs, this suit provides small to extremely limited protection when operating in the field and not going in a typical civilian attire for Republic agents. The suit's armor on the kneepads, legs, and upper arms is made from simple duraplast, and provides low to standard protection from blasters, explosions, and lightsabers, but it's main purpose is to provide cushion in case of falling and to aid in combat with close quarters combat.
-The gloves have small duraplast studs in the knuckles and hands to help with gripping and close-quarters combat.
- The balaclava is not made of a special material, and is made of simple cloth, wool, or any other procured materials on-site. Operatives may choose to forgo balaclava altogether.
-Commlink and nightvision goggles are not standard with armor, Operatives must provide or procure these items on their own, although they are sometimes listed as mission critical.
-Weapon storage is limited to what the operative may hold in their hands and what the two holsters, one on the thigh and one on the lower back may hold. A knife sheath may be added into the suit, but any blade longer than a standard knife will hinder the operative's movements.
-Small hook attachments on the belt allow for a zipline or extraction hook to be attached within seconds. The vest/gear combo can be swiftly removed to reduce weight when operatives need speed rather than equipment.
COST TO MAKE:
1500 Credits
Intent:
To distribute to Republic operatives as an effective and unique gear/armor set to provide an effective asset for field work.
