[SIZE=9pt]Taking influence both from designs by Ringovinda systems as well as the Umbaran electromagnetic plasma weaponry, in addition to hybrid weaponry from EODD’s roster, the Mantorr was designed to bring another type of hybrid weapon into the fold. Utilizing powerful electromagnetic plasma bolts the Mantorr is capable of delivering serious damage on target, burning through even heavy armor with its low-intensity explosive properties. A key result of this as well is that attempting to deflect the shots with a lightsaber rarely goes well for the defender, as the bolts explode on contact with the superheated plasma rather than deflecting away.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]A key feature of the Mantorr EM Rifle is its integrated underbarrel shotgun. Capable of fitting most standard shotgun shells, as well as a variety of specialty shells such as slugs, grenades, flechettes, and many others. This improves not only its versatility, as it can be effective against a variety of enemies with an action as simple as switching out the shells in addition to vastly improving its usefulness in close-quarters.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Several attachment points are present on the weapon, both on the spine of the weapon and along the handguard, which comes standard with a vertical foregrip to assist with aiming and stabilizing the weapon. The Mantorr comes standard as well with a shorter barrel fitting its designation as a mainline assault rifle, but can also be fitted with an extended barrel to improve accuracy at longer ranges. The downside of this is that the extended barrel requires plugging the shotgun barrel during its affixation, rendering it inoperable at risk of severely damaging the weapon itself.[/SIZE]
