SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
- Custom Fit: The armour was forged and designed to fit the body of Ecthelion Aiglos, to adapt as a second skin when he is wearing it. Therefore it offers a high maneuvrability and a feeling of minimum restraint and weight when it is protecting him.
- Layered: The different layers of protectice textiles and metals allow to resist much kinetic and piercing damage, rather than a simple plate or gambeson would.
- Coronet of Silver and Gold: The armour´s plating is partly reinforced by Songsteel, it gives the armor a certain protection against lightsaber attacks.
- Coat of Plates: The Mantle of the High Justice is heavy, it will slow down the wearer and exhaust him when fighting in it.
- Classical: This set of armour is designed to be useful in direct combat. It has no use against weapons of mind, electricity or the Force.
- Melting Point: Not all armour parts are reinforced with Songsteel, nor does Songsteel offer a permament protection against constant lightsaber stabs and slashes. Unopposed the armour will be destroyed easily by a lightsaber or one will find the weak spots.
The Mantle of the High Justice is a plate armour of classical design. It features a chest and back cuirass, shoulder pauldrons, bracers and greaves made of a Duranium-Songsteel plating highlighted with Gold alloys.
The second layer is a coat made of armorweave and leather held in a distinctive grey-ish colour. The coat is long and has long arms and also features a mid-high collar. As well as trousers of the same material and in the same colour.
The third layer is an armless, long chainmail shirt, extending to the knees as far as the coat. It is parted in the crotch on the back and front for more maneuvreability.
The fourth layer is a thick, but fine long tunic, where everything rests on.
The armour is decorated with golden highlights and details, such as the emblem of Ecthelion Aiglos on the chestplate, the crossover of the Zakuulan and Nelvaan Eternal Empire´s badges. The chainmail has several button platings which are showing scenes of past battles.
Additionally the armour features a cape which extends from between the shoulder plates to the ground. It is made of armorweave in a dark grey colour with golden outlining.
The armour has a decorated belt around the hip, featuring square plates of equal making as the chainmail platings. Beneath the cape, on the back of the belt, the belt features a magnetic clip for a weapon to be attached.
The boots are made of heavy, brown leather and studded.
Ecthelion Aiglos has met many people in his long life, known many artists and scientists. After his eventful meeting above the secret moon, he travelled back to Alderaan, to seek his belongings to bring them to his new home.
On his way there, he visited one of the people he knew - an excellent forger and smith. Small and unknown, a local and contracted him to craft this armour.
When he returned several weeks later, the armour was finished and he would from now on wear it as his uniform.
