Description: The Baa'ur-class medical frigate is one of the more rare designs made by MandalTech. The design stated, in its outset, that it was to have some modularity in its bays for various medical purposes and missions. Therefore, Rena got her hands on the design and decided 'hey, I make enough stuff for this company, let's take this design and make it a mobile laboratory'.

Turns out that Ordo, her boss, let her.

The Mantellian Wind is designed to be an all-around support ship with a strong engineering bent. As such, it has a few major changes to its core design: first, it is stripped of a good chunk of its weapon systems for power to be re-routed elsewhere - this makes it an utterly ineffective combat vessel, out-gunned by even the most basic corvette-class vessels. Secondly, most of its medical bays have been stripped out for cargo areas and tech labs and an armoury full of a huge variety of guns and other weapons and gear for the use of Mandalorian warriors. She is named for the homeworld of aliit Kryze and staffed by many of its members and tech teams from MandalTech - seven hundred of them, considering less crew are needed to staff med bays.

The tech labs, however, are all interesting in their own ways. They're all identical, fully equipped with a wide variety of tools, of course, as well as workbenches, machining tools and what have you - you could fully build a suit of beskar'gam, a brand-new rifle, repair your battle droid or whatever it is you need in there. However, for the advanced design ship of MandalTech designed to be a headquarters, it is also equipped with a solid-state hologram design system. Essentially the interface is made using a solid-state holgoram, movable about the tech lab with the user. These interfaces are equipped with engineering-oriented droid brans, able to massively decrease the processing time of the designs and help to put them together. Ultimately, it's like having a big computer do all the calculations for you - it is not an AI that can think independently and do the actual design work.

One other small change to the ship's design is the hangar. In the hangar rests a number of cargo lifters for transporting raw materials and supplies to and from the surface of a planet, as well as a few construction vehicles designed to act like tugs, or repair vessels in the field and salvage destroyed ones. It does have room for a number of troop ships for deploying its contingent of passengers - a company of fifty passengers could arm up on the Mantellian Wind's armoury then deploy to a battlefield if necessary. To back up its support role, it still has one dedicated medical lab that is fully equipped, left from the original vessel. Coupled with seven thousand metric tons of cargo capacity and two years of consumables, this ship can take any amount of supplies to a battlefield or relief mission.

Overall, the Mantellian Wind is great as a support ship - but, like Rena, is never intended to see combat. In essence, it is the ultimate quartermaster's vessel, and that's the way Rena likes it.
