Ah, Ziost... Finally a Dark planet again.

Maria stood on the surface of Ziost, a former Sith planet which was now under Mandalorian control. But it didn't matter to her. She wanted to admire the 'beauty' of it as it was the first time to be on the world. To be honest, she had never seen a Mandalorian before, so she hoped to see one this time. As a planet which had been under Dark Side's control, it had to be heavily protected, right? So there had to be many warriors...

The ship of hers... Oh, wait, she hadn't come here with her own ship. Because she didn't have one. She had come with a transport ship which imported goods to the planet. What kind of goods would a planet like this need? Maria thought. But it had been a great way to come.

So... She was standing in quite an empty space. There were some buildings and other structures, but not too much. It wasn't like a city or a town or a village... It was a strange area.

But there was a chance to meet Mandalorians.

Or admire the beauty.

Whichever she chose to do.

The ship which she had come with was behind her and the personnel of it were unloading goods from it. They were weapons or something similar, judging by how heavy the crates were. Of course, one couldn't underrate the fact, that there was a blaster symbol on the crates.

Maria wasn't supposed to help them. Because she was feeling a bit cold. Having come with a coat, she should have felt comfy enough. But no, it was not like that.

The coat she wore was made out of the finest animal fur, her trousers were of the best materials, too. They were black in colour and they were quite skin-tight. Boots of hers were black.

it just felt like it would be a beautiful day.

This was pure osik. Jedediah gave a grimace as he aided his comrade Zarra in lifting a crate full of weapons. Why in the world did these Field Marshals and Clan Leaders always have him doing the grunt tasks? The tall Mandalorian set the crate full of small arms weapons and ammunition down with a bored groan, catching a smirk from his comrade doing most of the heavy lifting. "Ain't that bad." He said with a grin, moving backwards to drag another crate forward for the two men to shuffle on down and set on top of the little repulsorcart. "Well, vod, I'd rather be firing these instead of just moving them." Jed helped drop the second crate down, taking a brief moment to yank his hood further over his head. Not having lots of hair sucked on planets like this. Di'kutla Sith. He mumbled to himself as he shambled back to relocate yet another piece of cargo.

And about ten minutes later he and Zarra had half a dozen crates chocked full of explosives and weaponry, enough to blow Jed into high orbit should he trip and drop them all onto the ground. Something he didn't exactly wanna do. "Welp, good luck. Take 'em down to the armory." The Colonel's eyes widened as Zarra spoke, still finishing the thought of himself spiraling into orbit. "Whoa now, what if I drop these?" Zarra shrugged, beginning to head up to the ramp. "Guess that's why you've got a repulsor and not a bag." He smirked, egging his good friend along. "Osik."

And off he was, the winter-garbed man strode out into the open. Apparently the Mandalorian armory had planned on starting a stockpile of weaponry here. Just a small one, but enough to quickly fully arm a sizable quantity of personnel. Jed shoved that cart forward against the snow billowing to and fro, ruffling the furred edges of his hood with each step. At least he'd thought to grab a beanie and wear it, the cloth covering his near bald head. The cart continued at its slow and steady pace towards a few desolate structures in the distance.

Everything Maria did was wandering around. The planet had been under the control of the Sith Empire, which is now destroyed, and now Mandalorians were the ones to control it. Well, a bit sad, yet... one would have to admit that the galaxy would have to change. The evil in it was getting unbearable and Maria had often thought about leaving the Dark Side of the Force. Maybe she should actually focus on the lighter, the less evil things? Like aiding the Republic, maybe.

Anyways, she was there. On a Mandalorian planet.

Seeing a man moving around with a cart, she decided to go and see who he is. Maybe he'd even need some help or something?

Walking towards him, the only thing which the Witch of Arx Mortis felt was growing fear. Maybe the man wasn't friendly at all. Maybe he was one of the grumpiest, the evilest people on the planet... or in the whole faction? She could never know before actually meeting him.

But she was already walking towards him, so she shouldn't turn around anymore. She'd have to regain her courage. Even though the pressure in her body which came from fear was bothering her and her heart was telling her to get out of there as fast as possible, she forced herself to go on without stopping for a moment.

It seemed like only a few steps remained between the man and Maria, so there was no turning back now.

Jed trudged through the thick snow, his hands gripping the rail to the repulsorcart with vigor. Every moment or so he flexed them, attempting to increase the blood flow to them even though they were concealed from the elements by a pair of gloves. Maybe he should've found work or a career elsewhere. This particular man didn't intend to let his years of military training go to waste when he could be on the frontlines rather than making deliveries like a teenage boy. This was work for the enlisted, not him. At least he'd be finished as soon as he delivered these weapons and then he and Zarra were outta there. Just as his form began to approach the very edges of the seemingly abandoned city, his cobalt blue eyes squinted against the sheet of snow, gazing at something beyond.

It was a person. He could barely see the outline of a humanoid body, but it began to clear as both he and the shape in the distance grew closer. If it was Mandalorian, then whoever it was would most likely be dressed in a fashion like his or garbed in the traditional armor of his people. Instead, the approaching shadow wore apparently luxurious clothing fit for a woman. A woman. That's right, her sleek form told him her gender. "Hey! You there! What are y'doing out here?!" Jed called out to her, inching his fingers close to his jacket.

Panic...

That was all Maria was able to feel. It seemed ton her that coming here was a mistake, she should have stayed away from the man. Why does she always have to do stupid things?

"I... I-" Maria spoke, noticeably being frightened and afraid of something. Typically, she was a playful, yet elegant woman. Now, her voice portrayed the exact opposite. She had been interrupted by a sudden feeling that she can't speak, which didn't come from being mute, but from the feeling that the man would do something to her. She had never met a single Mandalorian, after all, which meant, that she didn't know much about their personality or anything.

But Maria had to continue.

"I wanted to see if you needed help..."

The Mandalorian had already let go of his grip on the repulsorcart, the cart stopping almost as soon as he let go. His eyes surveyed the young woman up close this time, examining her sleek features through her skin-tight pants and fur coat. It was a wonder that she didn't freeze to death by wearing such materials, in high contrast to Jed's winter parka, thick cargo pants, and combat boots. His gloved hands fumbled for a minute at the holster on the inside of his jacket where a blaster pistol resided, but they stopped short of it.

"Narir Solus." He said. I've got this by myself. Jedediah said it politely, but kept his fingers near the blaster. Whoever this person was obviously wasn't a Mandalorian given her appearance and her greeting. "Now tell me again; why are you here?" He put a little firmness in his voice, narrowing his eyes.

"On the planet?" Maria asked, clearly a bit nervous and frightened, but it was meant more to herself rather than for the man. "Well, I... I wanted to see the planet... It was a Sith planet once, that's why." The way how the man held his hand in the jacket scared the woman even more, but she felt like she's slowly, really slowly, getting over it.

It was really cold, much colder than any other planet she had been on, but if she had been able to survive Crystalsong winter in Arx Mortis, which is most likely one of the coldest places on her home planet, she would definitely survive being on Ziost for some time.
