Mandalorian hate and pride

Kat's eyes hadn't left her drink in her hand since she got it. She had her helmet next to her, and was trying to ignore the thoughts about the planet she was on. Years ago, not too many, she would have been a slave. She clenched a fist and took a quick swig from the alcoholic beverage setting it down again with a furrowed brow and then breathing in to calm herself, her skin had started turning red just from the thought, so she forced it to go back to green.

She wore the armor of her savior, the woman who had taken her out of her captivity, taught her she could survive on her own. But then...she'd died. Salis took a little while, but she eventually donned her armor. She felt almost obliged to in a way, but at the same time, she felt guilty for it.

And often, guilty she didn't do the same. But that was how the world was, a single kindness to her didn't mean she could give everyone else the same freedom she was. She let out a breath and noticed the bartender staring at her, "Screw off." she muttered simply returning to her drink.

"I'm nobody anymore. The Mandalorians took that from me, my identity, my belonging. I need to find my place, a new place to call home. Among all...all of this karking crap. Then, at least...I will know if I deserved to live."
Illyria Syresh

Illyria's soft, golden eyes were fixated on the helmet, her helmet, which say atop of the wooden counter of the bar. The helmet itself was oddly intrancing and hypnotic, it's painted golden swirls and scaly texture distracting her from everything else around her. It helped her to breath, in and out, in, and out. She didn't even know why she was on Tatooine, or why she here, sitting on a stool at the counter of a bar, waiting for a drink. Her young and naive mind struggled to piece together why she had come here and then it struck her all at once. The attack, the ambush. She hadn't been the same since the Golden Company's raid within the Ison Corridor on former First Order held territory. The young woman had been walking down an abandoned street full of rubble when she had been attacked by Stormtroopers, they didn't use guns...they used metal rods to beat her. Her armor protected her because of course it did…

...though that haunting memory of being beat without remorse stayed within her. Everyone was nice in the Galaxy, they were all nice, weren't they? The Scion of house Syresh had always believed such a thing, but she didn't know now what to believe. Her father had always told her that everyone in the Galaxy was nice and happy to meet new people, that she should welcome others with open arms. And yet...

The clinking of a glass being set down beside her shocked the young, blue-skinned zabrak out of her trance. Her eyes shifted from the helmet to the drink the bartender had set beside her. The fizzing brown liquid sat engulfed in the cool glass, with islands of ice floating within it, like it were an Arctic landscape from her home, a home which was now all but ashes with nothing remaining. Illyria sniffled, trying to distance herself from the thought before grabbing the drink and taking a drink of it. The liquid stung the back of her throat and, despite the ice, sent a warmth through her bosom and temple that helped to ease and calm her nerves.

Khonsu was right, this stuff...this alcohol, it helps. I just hope I'm not drinking too much of this, he said something about drinking too much and something negative happening because of it…

For the life of her, the young woman couldn't remember what the Thychani Commander had told of her about alcohol consumption. Save that it helped one to forget about past sorrow and to move on with life. Even now she felt the tingling and warm sensation of the alcohol working through her body, relaxing her and making her calmer by the second as he worries seemed to wash away.

At the sound of a loud voice, her head turned to the right, falling upon a green-skinned woman. A woman who wore the armor of a Mandalorian...

Kat stared at her Corellian Ale, and took another drink from it, right now, she'd rather people not pay attention to her. She was trying to make everything go away, and sometimes being a Falleen got too many irritating onlookers. Which certainly didn't help but remind her of her past. Hence why she was so short with the bartender. Why did life, why did people, have to be so kriffing cruel. She took another swig of the strong drink grounding it against the table as she felt the alcohol flood her body.

She didn't really care how much it might screw with her better senses, she wanted to get rid of all that right now. It certainly was however, making her a bit extra unreasonable then she already was. She glanced her tired eyes as she noticed some horned woman looking at her, and narrowed her eyes suspiciously before looking back at her drink. She had zero clue what kind of species that was, a large horned blue female. Course, there had been a lot of species she'd seen that were weird which she never understood. Came with a life like hers, didn't make her any less suspicious when one was looking at her.

"People." She muttered to herself, taking another swig of the beverage and ignoring the people around her as best she could, thrumming her fingers on the counter, hoping the alcohol would make her a bit less angry sooner or later.

Illyria Syresh

Illyria's mind was in a haze of euphoria and blurred judgement. Having never drunk alcohol before save for one time with Khonsu Amon, it's effects still greatly impacted the young woman and her thoughts and actions. She was so new to such a thing, to such a feeling that she did not know how to act or how to keep herself in check, she didn't even know how much she could drink before her judgment went downhill. She had no such knowledge of such things, something which didn't help to ease her mind when she saw the woman in mandalorian armor sitting to her right a few seats over. Her father would never approve of such a thing, he always had encourage his little Illy to remain strong and to believe the good in every single person no matter how bad they may seem or how evil they may appear to every-day people. The scion of house Syresh had remained to her father's word ever since he had told her when she was barely able to talk...and yet now she could not. The alcohol, the blurring of her judgment, her drunkenness, her anger...it was a cesspool for broken promises and for a loss of all inhibitions.

Which was something that the young female zabrak had never witnessed nor felt beforehand. It was a disaster waiting to happen.

Her golden eye's narrowed and her blue lips upturned in a grimace at the mandalorian. A mandalorian was here, a mandalorian that could have killed her father. The hand holding her drink shook at the thought of coming face-to-face with her father's killer, or at least someone who was associated with her father's killer. She didn't know whether he was alive still, though she hoped he was. However, she needed to get revenge somehow, someway. Revenge, as it stood, was not Illyria's way, though now, with the alcohol coursing through her system, she had no control over her own thoughts and actions. She was merely a passenger within her own body.

"So, what brings a filth Mandalorian, a marauder, a rouge...a murderer here?"

Kat's eyes glanced back as she caught her looking at her again with a grimace and and saw her hand shake, before she spoke,
Illyria Syresh said:
"So, what brings a filth Mandalorian, a marauder, a rouge...a murderer here?"

The Falleen's face contorted in both surprise and almost disgust, How could she, she doesn't know anything about me! Or Mandalorians, freaking, drunk, horned girl. They're honorable! It was a Mandalorian that got me out of the whole mess my parents threw me in. she shut her eyes for a moment and swallowed thinking on the memory before she stood up turning red from anger, in quite the literal sense, not hiding the emotion behind the green that Falleen's usually displayed.

"How dare you! How dare you assume you know anything about me, you....horned child." She responded with quite a bit of feeling in her voice, "I came here so I could get a drink you flipping...whatever you are. And what do you know about Mandalorian's? They're honorable! Worth more then you ever could be at least."

Inside she knew she was overdoing her reaction, but she was already having a bad time and like the other girl had combined that with an alcohol, and a particularly strong one, "What do you know huh? Just leave me alone, stoopa."

She fell back into her chair a scowl on her face and took another swig of her drink, almost going back to talk but instead just gripping the glass and taking another swig, her pained face changing from red and green regularly.

Illyria Syresh

Despite Illyria's drunkenness, she still felt and heard every word that the green-skinned woman spoke to her. She was a passenger in her own drunken body, yes, though that didn't lessen her control over her own emotions, more-so in the case of getting upset. She couldn't control her anger, though she was just as emotional as she ever was, if not more-so when in her newfound drunken state. Such as right now. She didn't know what she was doing or why she was doing it, it was all out of an alcohol-infused rage at the mandalorian people for taking away everything she had and leaving her with nothing, absolutely nothing whatsoever. They had made her alone in a Galaxy that she knew not the first thing about save what her parents had told her, which was little. Their sheltering of her life had caused her to never know how to cope with her anger and sorrow, making her force it in on herself or express it outwards without control or care to anyone else.

She flinched at the harshness of the woman's voice directed towards her, feeling every punch and sting of the green-skinned woman's words within her heart. Illyria, under normal circumstances, would have broke down not knowing what to do or how to defend herself without hurting others. However in her drunken state, all it did was make her angry and hurt from what the woman across from her was doing and saying to her. She placed the cool glass on the wooden counter before standing up, her golden eyes falling upon the face of the green-skinned woman, narrowed venomously.

"I may be a child, but at least I'm not a liar like the karking mandalorians. You kill anyone who has something you want! You just can't help yourselves, you take whatever you want and kill anyone who get's in your way no matter who they are, no matter who's parents they are...all because you are good for nothing, karking idiots!"

When Kat sat down she didn't even think about whether it was over or not until the zabrak stood up and started talking back at her again. Really, Kat knew almost nothing about the Mandalorians, she knew only what the woman who saved her told her and the experience with her. Course in the moment that seemed like all that mattered to her.

She stood up again while the girl was talking to face her, having gritted teeth and and reddened skin now that she was quite angry about the whole deal. They were actually quite close to the same height so there wasn't exactly much intimidation that could go on by size. She tried to stare the girl down as she spoke and didn't even think much about what any of it meant when she finished going right off into a response, to her it was a direct insult to someone that Kat cared about who died, which was part of what made it even more painful.

"Screw you you don't know anything about Mandalorians! They kill because fighting is the way of the galaxy, they care about family, about honor! What the kriff do you care about! The best woman I ever met was a Mandalorian the rest of you have almost all been Poodoo! You-" She paused her skin had gone an intensely dark red but it suddenly got slightly lighter as she actually recognized something,

Illyria Syresh said:
you take whatever you want and kill anyone who get's in your way no matter who they are, no matter who's parents they are
Kat herself despised her own parents, which was why it took even extra time for her to possible realize why the girl was so angry at her seemingly from out of nowhere. But while she hated her parents, she didn't hate the woman who was close enough to a mother to recognize the feeling. She swallowed, her face still contorted in fury and pain, before speaking, her voice a bit calmer, but still filled with pain, "What caused this?" she asked, mostly referring to the outburst. Sure there was a better way to phrase that, she was sure there was. But she couldn't think of that right now. She was still far too distracted to think properly.

Illyria Syresh

Illyria kept her back straight and her shoulders rolled back, trying to act as though she was taller and stronger than the green-skinned woman. Though, it did nothing of the sort. As soon as the woman stood up to her and stared into her eyes, the blue zabrak took a few steps backwards out of fear and apprehension. For how much spunk and lack of restraint she had when acting like this with alcohol making her lose her inhibitions, she was still the same fearful and scared girl she always was...like she always would be. She tried to put up a shield, to pretend that she counted for something and that she was strong and not just a pretty face though she could do nothing of the sort to protect herself, to make herself look stronger than she was. Syresh's golden eyes remained fixated on those brown eyes of the green woman, trying to do something other than stand there, alone and afraid.

"I-i care about family and honor and...people, not like those Mandalorians..."

Before Illyria could continue with her spiel which would most likely lead to another insult being thrown at the green-skinned woman, the woman asked her a question. She knew not if it was one meant to insult her or one of genuine curiosity, Illyria didn't know in her drunken haze whatever it was that this woman was trying to do and get at towards her or why she was so adamant in defending the Mandalorians so, except for this 'friend' of hers who was a Mandalorian. The scion of house Syresh viewed all Mandos as the same, murderous and capable of killing anyone and destroying everything in there path no matter the cost and no care about what happened to others.

"Y-you...you're dressed a-as a Mandalorian..."

The girl had backstopped which was at least partially a good sign, at least she was probably not going to actually try and fight. That would make things rather difficult. She spoke again saying she did care, again claiming Mandalorians didn't And when she answered the question, it was just that she was dressed as a Mandalorian. Kat swallowed running a finger across her forehead, she wasn't sure, but she had her ideas about it.

Her skin slowly had begun starting to return to the green, "I...this is the armor of the woman who saved my life. Someone who cared about me more then my own parents. I...I use it because I think she would have wanted me to." she said swallowing and trying to breath slowly, "But that's not what I mean...I mean...why do you hate Mandalorians so much?"

Kat was still effected by the alcohol, certainly, but she wasn't so drunk that she was completely incapable of thought. And right now that thought was on the reasoning, the mention about the parents and the murder and the uproar it felt so much more personal then just a hate for them. That they'd hurt her in some way directly. Which meant they were on completely opposite ends of experience with the culture. The closest figure that Kat had to a real mother, was a Mandalorian. While a Mandalorian had perhaps taken that from this girl.

Illyria Syresh

Illyria had been expecting for something obnoxious, something prideful to come from the green-skinned woman. After all, she was a Mandalorian, wasn't she? They were all prideful in what they could do and so sure of themselves that they could do whatever it is that they wanted without any repercussions. She wanted the woman to act all high if herself so that Illyria herself could feel justified in attacking this woman. Such a thought would normally never come across her mind typically, now it did however. Alcohol drove away all of her inaction, at least most of it. It drove away her innocence and nativity and her kindness in favor of her instincts. Yet even with such a thing, she could feel her father's words at the edges of her mind. She never wanted to disappoint him, she knew that she was disappoint him, the feeling of being 'loose' because of the alcohol in her system made her forget at times about her father and forget about the standards that he set her to.

She had not been expecting for the woman to respond how she did, it shocked her, it surprised her, and it made her realize how foolish she had been to judge her so very quickly. She hadn't realized or even thought that the woman would say such a thing, she had not considered it nor contemplated it. Now that she heard it, Illyria knew not what to do, save for telling the truth. Her father had always told her, had always told his Illy, that she should tell the truth because a "person who is true makes everyone proud, a liar makes nobody proud." She would try to stick to such a thing, even in her drunken state.

"T-they killed my parents, my family...at least I think they did. I don't know where they are anymore of if they are even alive--," Illyria sniffled softly, a tear falling from her eye, before continuing, "--t-they took my home and burned it to the ground. I have nothing because of them!"

Kat lowered her head and looked to the side. She had to wonder why she hadn't considered sooner. No, she knew why, she was upset and under the influence. She should have controlled herself better, she didn't think before she acted. As she heard this girl answer, and even shedding a tear, Kat breathed in quietly, realizing she might as well have just now caused pain to her.

"I'm...sorry." she said, she had a look of guilt on her face, she looked back to see the Zabrak, "It...wasn't me, and I don't think Ms Hayi would ever have done such a thing. But....I'm so sorry. I should have thought before I spoke."

The, now returned to a green skinned, woman still had a sorrowful look. Both for how she'd acted, but also cause all this had only further reminded her of her own past, and she just couldn't stop herself from feeling it was only fair she respond in turn, "I...my own parents gave my up to slavers. And it was Ms Hayi, a Mandalorian, who saved me. That's why I'm so defensive, she was the closest thing I had to a parent, and she died. And...I'm sorry."

She still felt pain from what was said about the Mandalorians, but now she could see the reason behind it. And now she felt like she was in the wrong for the way she acted. This girl had been through so much as well, and it was not right to just burst back at her like that. None of this was right, not only just what they'd done now, but the past they'd had to go through that had caused all this.

"I'm...sorry."

Illyria had never been suspecting to hear those uttered words leave through the green lips of the woman across from her. She believed that the woman was angry with her, which she had a right to be at this point. After all, the blue-skinned woman had vocally insulted her and attacked her with her words. Though not a physical attack, words were just as deadly, if not more deadly than any physical attack. Words would bring down a nation and could incite a revolution which could see the end of an empire which had lived for a millennia. The woman knew such things from the books she had read as a child, books about far-away lands, about princes and princesses...just like her. Where good prevailed over evil, strong men and women fighting for what they believed and winning as they always did in her favorite novels. She had always believed that was how life was, fantasy and full of joy and hope. It wasn't until she had grown and been attacked and left alone...that she knew that a fantasy was impossible. A fantasy, a fairy-tale was never possible...it just wasn't. No matter how hard one tried, such things could never come-to-pass. Now now, not ever.

"I-i...I'm sorry, I-i just assumed..." She sniffled, regaining control over herself enough only to not know what to do with herself now.

As soon as Illyria heard the green-skinned woman was a slave, she looked down towards the ground in shock. She had only recently been exposed to the idea of slavery a mere few years ago before the Mandalorians had attacked. Prior to her father telling of her such things, she had never been exposed to such a concept. Even now it was hard for her to grasp the why's and how's of slavery and what it was. She knew it was a terrible thing, as did her father and mother though they had not been able to do much in regards to such an issue. It wasn't for lack of trying...but lack of ability to do anything.

"...I didn't know...I-i'm sorry."

The girl apologized, she'd assumed. So had Kat, who was she to give blame. She'd looked down when Kat explained her own story, it was not something Kat was happy or proud of, nothing from here out could fix what happened in the past. All they could do is move forwards. Assumptions and unthought out words, they could be forgiven.

The blue skinned Zabrak apologized again, things had quieted down most certainly from the outbursts, though there were still some looking at the two. the Falleen looked at her own hand for a moment removing the glover and reaching it out to [member="Illyria Syresh"] "Can we...try and look past it. I am so sorry, I shouldn't have assumed either, I didn't think."

She swallowed, she still looked hurt, but she was at least trying to help fix what she'd done in some way, and she hoped this was at least some kind of start, she had a piece of the Womans story, and she had a piece of Kat's. Though, there wasn't much else Kat could really say. She didn't have a long tale really, or rather a detailed one. Just a painful one.

karking crap. Then, at least...I will know if I deserved to live."
Illyria Syresh

Illyria didn't know what to do as she stood there, her golden eyes shifting to look down towards the ground again. She felt as though dozens of people were looking upon her and silently judging her which, she supposed, was true. Though there was a little over a dozen people in the bar the two of them were in, the number of people staring at her felt like it was tripled. She didn't want anyone looking at her and judging her, especially now of all times when she wasn't in her right mind. Especially now after her drunken outburst directed towards a person whom she had judged on first appearance. Her father has taught her better than that, he would have been disappointed in her from seeing the rageful ouburst that had just fallen from her lips. She felt guilty over such a thing, she hadn't meant to accuse the woman. She had just assumed that she was a Mandalorian and wanted to release her anger onto them, onto the people that had taken her parents from her, her home, her life. Bringing up a gloved hand, the Scion of house Syresh wiped a few tears away from the corners of her eyes, trying to remain strong, trying to pretend that she was strong and could protect herself from any attack that could befall her. She wanted to be strong, she wanted to try and be strong...she just didn't know what strong was. Especially now.

As the green-skinned woman began to speak once more, the zabrak's eyes met hers with guilt and sorrow at what she had done. She was asking for the two of them to try and move past what had happened, something that the blue-skinned woman had been hoping for. Her pupils looked to the outstretched Jade green hand in front of her, hesitating. She didn't know what would happen if she shook this woman's hand. What if it was a trick? What if it was a trap? What if this woman...whoever she was, was trying to pull her into a sense of false security only to stack her? Illyria's mind was a mess of worry and of anxiety at what could happen if she shook the woman's hand. But, she wanted to be strong, she wanted to look strong. And the strong thing was shaking this woman's hand. The Scion of house Syresh reached out her hand slowly and then with hesitation, took the green hand that was outstretched towards her.

"Okay, okay...let's uh, let try and move past this.

As she held the woman's hand in her gloved grip, a soft smile took to her lips. It wasn't a large one or a boastful one, it was merely a smile to try and make herself happy in the moment about the two of them trying to reconcile and move past their faults to be better. It was something that Illyria was glad, she was starting to slowly become happy that whatever it is that happened between the two of them, that they could move forwards from such a thing.

"Ha, go get a room you too! You both are such lovebirds, arguing like that!"

Illyria froze as soon as she heard the comment, her cheeks taking on a blue blush which was darker than her skin-tone and quickly became apparent as the color darkened due to her embarrassment. At such a comment, the smile disappeared and was replaced with a frown of worry and anxiety. The hand clenched around that of the Mandalorian loosened it's grip some.

Kat waited patiently as the blue girl hesitated, sometimes her eyes glancing between the hands and the girl or pursing her lips wondering if she should say anything more. Or if she had chosen her words correctly. But eventually, [member="Illyria Syresh"] did indeed reach forth with her own hand and smiled, letting the tension that was still held for Kat release a good bit to allow her a more relaxed smile in return. At least this was a proper step to resolving the mistake.

The Falleen took in a breath as she heard someone speak, shutting her eyes for a moment and biting her lip her own skin darkening as a result, she opened them again to see Illyria blush and her grip loosen, as it did Kat glared at the speaker, "Mind your own vaping business, Sculag. Wouldn't want to have to throw you out a window." she said with a growl, not that it got much of a reaction out of them. She shouldn't really have expected much of a change there. She clasped her other hand around the shaking hand Illyria had and looked her in the eyes with one more nod before releasing the both, "Listen they're probably not gonna stop staring after all that, I've spent way too much time around these scum to think otherwise." she commented, whether as a slave or a freelancer they all still acted the same in this places.

She tossed a credit stick on the counter for her drink, and returned to look at Illyria, again reminded of the damage of her past, "Maybe we should...just find somewhere else for now hm? I’d rather not have these sleemo’s looking at us." she suggested.

Illyria Syresh

Illyria didn't know what to do now. She didn't know what to do now that that person, whoever it was that had made such a comment, said such a thing. Whereas one moment she had been relieved and had begun to start to relax and calm herself down from her outburst, the next she was a nervous wreck just from one person's comment. The blue-skinned woman didn't know if the man was serious or if he was making a rude gesture or joke, though whatever it is that was his intention, it made her nervous and anxious about what to do. Had the green woman planned this? She knew not, though her mind was jumping at any possible explanation. And her drunkenness did little to help her with such a thing, it only made it worse.

Luckily her assumption of whoever was this woman was wrong. Her glazed golden eyes looked back upwards and towards the face of the woman, blushing as she stood up for her, as she stood up for Illyria who didn't know how to stand up for herself despite being a newly recruited mercenary. She had armor, she had a gun, she knew how to generally defend herself, and yet she didn't truly know how to defend herself. Her sheltered life didn't allow such a thing, her parents had always intended to defend her from the Galaxy, they had never expected for what had happened...to happen. Though her parents had taught her how to fight through tutors, she knew not how to defend herself mentally or emotionally. She was emotionally vulnerable as she always would be. Which was why she was glad and happy that this jade woman had defended her and stood up for her.

"Maybe we should...just find somewhere else for now hm? I’d rather not have these sleemo’s looking at us."

Illyria offered the woman a silent nod in return to her statement about going somewhere else, her mind thinking nothing of what the woman meant by her saying that, not knowing if she meant something else or if she just spoke truth of going someplace else. Her gloved hand released that of the woman's before placing a credit chip onto the counter and grabbing her golden helmet, hooking it onto a metal hook on the waist of her suit. After doing so, she went back to the green-skinned woman.

"W-where would you like to go to?"

(I apologize for my sub quality and shorter/less often posts. I am not having easy access to computer or alone time for awhile)

Kat picked up her helmet as the blue girl nodded ultimately and began to exit, all the while casting occasional glares at the man who’d made the comment just moments ago. It wasn’t so much she was opposed to all comments, but butting in on a deeper conversation like that was just plain rude, not that she was unused to it.

As they stepped outside and the question of where to go came up Kat let out a thoughtful groan and scratched the back of her neck in thought, “Hm, uh, I don’t actually know. Mostly it was just to get away from those slime but I really don’t know where to go from here.”

She had to think for a moment looking down and stroked her helmet with a thumb as it sat under her arm, “I really do feel I should make it up to you, I mean...not that I wasn’t hurt myself but, I was probably a little more used to, you know, intoxication then you are. I live around pieces of poodoo like this so drinking is not an uncommon thing for me.”

"I'm nobody anymore. The Mandalorians took that from me, my identity, my belonging. I need to find my place, a new place to call home. Among all...all of this karking crap. Then, at least...I will know if I deserved to live."
Illyria Syresh

Hm, uh, I don’t actually know. Mostly it was just to get away from those slime but I really don’t know where to go from here.

"Oh, oh, I...I'm sorry I thought you were being serious..."

Illyria thought that the green-skinned woman had been serious about taking her somewhere for the two of them to talk, however she had been mistaken. She didn't know why she has automatically assumed the woman was being serious, perhaps it was because she was intoxicated or maybe she was just jumping to the worst conclusion as her mind typically did. She hated that about herself, especially when she was so intoxicated like this, it only served to make things worse. However despite such things, the Scion of house Syresh didn't allow for the miscommunication between the pair of them to sour their relationship as it had done earlier. She hadn't want enemies, she had never wanted enemies...all she ever wanted were friends.

I really do feel I should make it up to you, I mean...not that I wasn’t hurt myself but, I was probably a little more used to, you know, intoxication then you are. I live around pieces of poodoo like this so drinking is not an uncommon thing for me.

Truth be told, Illyria knew not what they could do or what the woman would do. She didn't favor the woman's charity, the woman's pity...it made her feel as though she was being a bother to whoever this mandalorian woman was. However, she didn't believe the woman would take 'No' for an answer so she was at a cross-roads of the unknown of what to do.

"I'm sorry...it's the first time I've...I've actually gotten you know, intoxicated before."

(ooc: I really do apologize for the delays. Mostly back, still somewhat busy.)

Kat shook her head and held up her hands feeling sorry it had come out wrong, "Oh no I mean I'm totally ready to actually find somewhere else I just...don't know where to go. Kinda worried we'd just run into more of those guys, maybe there's somewhere we can walk? I mean, Tatooine doesn't exactly have that many friendly places. We could go to an inn but uh...yeah I don't have many ideas, I have a ship if that helps? At least we'd be away from people and not in this scorching sun?" she offered holding her hands out apologetically. She really wasn't as good with casual conversation, manipulation sure, but that was seduction, not...regular people talk.

Kat bowed her head as the girl mentioned she'd never been intoxicated before and apologized again. "Unfortunately, I have, I should have known better really. Life is just not easy."

The Falleen furrowed her brow then looked back at the blue girl, "Wait...how did you end up on Tatooine, it's not exactly the most hospitable planet. I mean...most people avoid it who aren't either, well, victims or criminals on some planet."
