BIOGRAPHY:

Born on the Chiss world of Cioral, Mala Ciava was born as Csapla'cia'safis with the intended goal of helping the Chiss in colonial affairs etc, like other members of her family. As she went to the best schools due to being part of the Aristocra, she began to see her intended role in Chiss society to be boring, wishing to fight in the front likes of the CEDF.

It was during this time that she was adopted by the, Noroudo, one of the eight ruling chiss families with control of the military sphere. After being adopted, she changed her name to Csapla'cia'noroudo, remembering where she was born, but choosing to join the military, and fight on the front lines.

But it would not be in the army, the navy, or the starfighter corps where Ciava found her talents. She found her talents as a slicer, being able to create advanced programs that could move past the security systems of the enemies. Her talent as a slicer was well known to her, as she had won various programming competitions during her education.

As time went own, she advanced on her skills. At the same time, the Chiss Ascendancy was facing the threat many in the galaxy faced: The One Sith. While many rebelled, the Sith war machine easily overpowered the Chiss Ascendancy with their Star Destroyers, and Battleships. The young Chiss went rogue, forming one of the many resistance cells that worked to fight against One Sith occupation, but making sure she did not target any civilian targets.

During one fateful battle, she was nearly killed, and according to the One Sith Databanks(as well as the Chiss, and most likely ever other databank out there), she was a dead woman. Fortunately for her, she had survived, During her journeys, she would find out that she was betrayed by one of her own, a Chiss member of her resistance cell.

The young slicer, now seeing that the grip by the One Sith on Chiss space was tight, she decided to forsake her breathen, seeing that many of her own had died, or swore loyalty to the Sith. She also forsaked her name sake, becoming Mala Ciava in the process.

Ciava then choose a as a merc, conducting cyberops against various organizations, without living a single trace. It paid well, but she wondered if the Sith would ever lose.

That was, until the Galactic Alliance showed up.

With victory, after victory, the Sith crumbled. It was during this time that many of the OS Army fled, deciding enough was enough, and fighting the ordered genocide of the Chiss people. A new power in the galaxy, the Iron Empire, appeared to save her people. While she had hated most OS troops, the fact that they had given up all they had to save the Chiss, made her grateful to them, something that she is still grateful for at this moment. Ciava however didn't go back.

The former CEDF personnel however had grown accustomed to her new life, and could not see herself going back to her old, traditional roots.

So she became a slicer for hire, working originally for the Iron Empire in helping create their own weapons, without ever revealing her identity. It was during this time that she became known as "Enigma", gathering the title Open Source Queen for her support of open-source software.

She, along with those of the Open Source Foundation created programs for those in the Iron Empire, and the galaxy to use. Ciava however needed money, so she turned to crime, becoming an outlaw in the process.

Having no where to go, Mala took her ship to Nar'Shadaa, where she met the Crimson Cartel. Now a member of the underworld organization, the young slicer has provided her talents to them.
