Strengths:
Multi role configuration: The Mako-class can be loaded out with a wide array of weapons to boost the offensive power of the craft.

Weaknesses:
Serviceability: While the vessel can be retrofitted quickly and cheaply the non modular systems and electronics run on a complicated redundant system making servicing difficult unless done at a Mon Calamari Shipyards service yard.
No Shielding: (The basic configuration of the Mako-class does not come with a shield generator. A Modular Shield Pod must be purchased and installed for the craft to have shielding.)
No HyperDrive: ( The basic configuration does not include a hyperdrive. The Hyperdrive Moduale Pod must be chosen as a pod choice to have hyperspace capabilities.)

Description: The Mako-class is an attempt to offer an high quality fast interdiction interceptor for Prospective Customers. The single seat craft offers performance matching most any other interceptor on the market. The second of the new Designs created by the Reshmar/Aguer Design team, the Mako-class offers the same modular design concepts as the Waverunner-class. Unlike the Waverunner-class The Mako-class is geared at offensive INterdiction duties.

Weapons systems can be mixed and matched to the prospective customers liking offering a wide range of offensive capabilities. While the ship offers a shielding upgrade it has no shields installed in the stock fongiguration and has no built in hyperdrive as the intent is to be a carrier/planetary deployed craft. A hyperdrive module can be installed as a pod slot option. A Sublight Acceleration Motor (SLAM) drive can be equipped to offer a boost of speed to close rapidly on targets and engage then unprepared.

The atmospheric capabilities of the Mako-class are exceptional and the craft even offer the ability to be launched from submerged hangers to a depth of 100 meters. This depth is increased to 1000 meters with the addition of the Shield Pod

This gives for the opportunity for too many weapons to be made available on a ship of this size. Please either reduce the former 2 laser cannons to one(1) or reduce the modular weapon pod amount to 2.

Will the changed I made in making one pod strictly a system pod be acceptable? This limits the weapons systems to 4 and keeps the ability to add shielding or propulsion options.

I changed the pod where only 2 can be selected for weapons giving the interceptor 4 weapons. Made the 3rd pod an equipment pod where it can be given an upgrade for speed, Shilding, or hyperdrive. Before all 3 pods could have weapons chosen for them giving it 5 weapons which I think was the issue.
