Making friends is fun.

This was a strange life. In the past, he went to Alderaan, but he never actually saw the world by anything besides the people. But now, there he was again, watching calmly through a window, standing tall and still, waiting for better or worse in this meeting that would occur. But, with no set mind in that, Iedolas kepted himself watching out of that window, not looking for his contact, but looking at the jungle.

All that green, wild, untamed life. A untouched world, that his elzeri ancestors would have died to see and feel again, when roaming through the galaxy in search of a world to settle. They didn’t had any wild forests like those in Kaikielius, he thought privately to himself, they had thick woods, with big and sturdy oaks, gushy rivers and deadly wildlife, but nothing that big. “Ain’t life strange?”, he almost could smile by his own remark, for after all, he was descended of a wood people, a kind that lived and died in woods before losing their homeworld, wherever it was.

“Bring me a drink, if you be so kind.”, he murmured to his aide. And the serving droid rushed to do what was asked of him, serving in a golden goblet with his personal casket of wine. Delivering the cup in his hand with a small reverence to his royal being. Iedolas rose the goblet slowly to his lips, barely touching the wine and sipping a small amount of the red delicacy.

KYLO KYR'AM'S VOICE WITH HELMET ON

The hallway was quiet, he heard his own breath through his rebreather, his scanners scanning everything. As he walked his duster flowed along behind him. Kylo knew nothing of the person he was meeting, only that the contact made contact with Kylo for a reason and as long as the credits he didn't care what the job was.

Kylo arrived at the doors that separated him from his contact. Kylo stopped in front of the doors. Once they opened Kylo walked in noticing his contact.

Kylo walked into the room and then stood still and looked to his contact.

I'm Kylo Kyr'am, you reached out to me, here I am, what did you want to discuss?

Kylo silently waited for a response.

PAST
So it was that it seems imperative more than ever that he felt that he'd not only commit himself to duty or cause appointed to him. By not only his family, her highness and to the people of Alderaan. For whom he felt indebted to given all the trust they seem to have on him as they went so far as entrust him with his current post. To which as the ambassador not only did he have to learn be much more responsible at the same time see first hand they heavy burden of said responsibility. Something which for the most part was not something that he had been used to nor even care for in the past.

For as much could be said of it he was at best his own man....never one who'd cared for anyone else than his own. That is until war and ruin came at their doorstep.....that before long all and everything he knew had either changed or was seem been all but obliterated in the dust of the wheel war. as such with the growing threat slowly inching closer not only on their border but of those that thru faith. Kept their alliance and such with them that it was had slowly crept to become a growing concern by them as well. Where in with this had been born the rhetoric as well the faint divide within but up to the very council from where he not early ago attended.

And so with that said though the meeting had held to a stalemate between the two growing side. That he could no less could seem to wait no longer in that as much he swore and wish at best not see war yet ravage the landscape of his home and those that they held true to their alliance. He felt it at best inevitable that he perhaps made some fall back plan.

PRESENT
As such he did well and hard to traverse as much the nearby planet as well as influential entities too. Not only fund but help with make the concession if ever the need arrive. At which time that talks of a certain nobility and monarch named [member="Primarch Iedolas"] came to his attention to which end. Though it was at best filled with uncertainty he no less felt strong enough give it a try....sending him a private envoy with a message inquires if anything his interest in setting up a private meeting in regards to trade? Or something of that sort... That he now found himself standing just outside a room as the meet was currently being set up between the two.

Even as the mercenary barged in, Iedolas kept his eyes in the window, watching the glory of Alderaan. An old glory, and old world, one more capable of understanding the fundamentals that run the Protectorate better than most Core Worlds. Many with petty warlords, corrupt inner governments, or worse, dark side adepts. He heard rumors of some cult called Krath, and that Empress Teta and their nobles have resorted to the old ways of the darkness. Shameful, there were no such thing as light or dark in his opinion, life was always gray, and so should the force be it so. But, opinions were like races, they diverged.

“Mister Kylo…”, Solidor said, calm and in a deep tone, “A pleasure to make your acquaintance. Must say, i am impressed with the tales i heard about you and you’re… organization. Heard she can provide some special services.”, turning back to face the men, Iedolas spoke with the emissary of his lordship of Alderaan. “If you be so can as to tell your master i will gladly have his presence momentarily, i do have matters to sort it out with this gentlemen.”, and after that, Iedolas turned back to Kylo, and spoke like before.

“Quite the armada you have in your command don’t you? One that the Protectorate is interested in hiring to work under our flag for the right price off course.”, stopping for a second, Iedolas had a expression that looked like he was thinking about the matter. “Ships, guns, money, worlds. You name your price, and the Interstellar Protectorate shall pay.”

It was at that time while waiting in the next room while the envoy enters the room ahead. Announcing his arrival with as less fanfare than most his trip had for seeming the most part. Though the talks about the possibility of the accord were in the works Andulf had, for the most part, didn't take well in have to wait. And so figuring to take the initiative to make set up an initial meeting with the current monarch to see the viability of any if an accord could be made with them. For with the treat of the ever-growing bold moves by both the SIth and its cohorts he felt it was more like an eventuality rather than just a possibility that the danger from their threat could spill over to their shores.

And in light this finding or acquire allies beforehand was imperative.....so here he was. Despite some his Capt. misgiving in such a plan.

They were young. His was the kind that lived through the centuries, once thought to be immortal, but a elzeri lived a long life, and it was said that in the old days, when they lived in a magical land, his people could live for even one thousand years. Now, the eldest of his people was seven hundred years old, and that extremely rare to happen. Iedolas was old, but powerful, powerful enough to make his sons still afraid of him, for he was terrified of his father, and so his children should fear him as well.

And now, there he was, with adult humans. Young by his standards, but in their prime for the impending doom of so short mortality.
“You and you’re brave soldiers shall be our sword and shield. To sign our contract and receive our payment, and after that, you, gentlemen, shall provide myself with protection for negotiations to come, and strenght in the inevitable fights on the way.”, that said Iedolas took both hands behind his body, and after a long moment, he smiled to the mercenary with a kind manner. “Talk to your men and let me know. If you agree, payment shall be provided, until then, i will leave for an appointment with the Count Teraan, i will soon return, but i will assure you this… glory and fortune, is what i offer.”

After that he said no more, Iedolas started walking to the door, where his steward stood waiting for him. The man already knew where to take him, and so he did, and when he arrived in the same room as Count Andulf, the Primarch made a curtsey in respect to his old acquaintance. Still smiling for the Count, both of them were nobles by birthright, as Iedolas was a Duke of his own household.
“Count Teraan, apologies to have you waiting. I had pressing matters to sort it out before our meeting. Now, shall we begin?”

It was at that time no sooner had the envoy left the room that Andulf turns around to gaze out the window. His mind somewhat troubled by both the current state of things in the galaxy as much it was at the homefront. And so after much careful thought that the idea form in his mind....that for what its worth a course of action...a plan was needed to be set in motion. A plan that if nothing else would be quite a massive undertaking for him alone to take as such allies or such needed be secured. For one way or another it all starts now, he thought to himself as the idea trail in his mind.

But then again it didn't take long for his intended person to meet came thru the doors. And as he did so that he then not wasting time on words came forth speak.

“Count Teraan, apologies to have you waiting. I had pressing matters to sort it out before our meeting. Now, shall we begin?”

At which time giving the appropriate curtsy reply back that he responded.

" [member="Primarch Iedolas"], no need for apologies as I do understand.... given the state of things there are quite a few pressing matters that one to attend to more and more each day. But just the same .....shall we?"

The old elf smiled at the Count and his pleasantries. A kind gesture of nobles, showing that they were highly educated and greatly instructed as according with their positions in society. With that said, he slowly walked, almost as if he was slowly floating to his seat next to his noble host.
“Indeed, my esteemed Count. In these days, we, that find find ourselves in leadership positions for our peoples and Houses, we must deal with several issues at a single time. "

Having said that, Iedolas sat down, next to his noble compatriot of the Core. He was on that planet with the intention of discussing business and an alliance that had remained in the days of the Galactic Alliance and now needed to be renewed if they had the desire to survive in that cold area of space. So, with a methodical voice, he chose his words calmly.

"The gentleman in question was a leader of a great force of mercenaries, men necessary for the survival of our way of life, one who is threatened, or will be faced by various adversities. Dark worshipers in once civilized worlds, complete chaos in lands that belonged to the ideals of democracy.” He paused in his speech, only continuing after savoring the weight of what he had said. "All this is bad for business, and worse for our positions, how long before they come to hunt us like dogs in our castles, with torches and shouting idol names of the dark side?”

It was then with seeming formalities expected as much it had been customary had all but been dispensed with. Seem much to both as well show off their high born status that had all but endured since time in memorium.

“Indeed, my esteemed Count. In these days, we, that find ourselves in leadership positions for our peoples and Houses, we must deal with several issues at a single time. "

Came his host and noble compatriot reply as the two then came to move forwards towards the prepared table ahead. One which two fine gilded seats were set for each one sit on. As he then keeping silent for the time being listened as his host slowly took his seat that he came forth to ask.

"Indeed, that it is in this time of strife and dishevel that thru strong leadership. That one finds hard pressed as much entrusted with responsibility, safety and wellbeing of not only our house but its people. To which as you mention I have come to try deal as much of the several issues at a single time if I can given the pressing matters at stake. Thought curious if I may ask who was it that person earlier?"

At which time his host replied.

"The gentleman in question was a leader of a great force of mercenaries, men necessary for the survival of our way of life, one who is threatened, or will be faced by various adversities. Dark worshipers in once civilized worlds, complete chaos in lands that belonged to the ideals of democracy.”

He paused in his speech, only continuing after savoring the weight of what he had said.

"All this is bad for business, and worse for our positions, how long before they come to hunt us like dogs in our castles, with torches and shouting idol names of the dark side?”

He paused to ponder his words before continuing after reply.

" I see at any rate the treat is seemed looming over us all from all direction that it would seem it'll be only matter of time before these fiends come bay for blood...so i come bearing an offer of truce as well alliance among us. Thought given the danger these dark fiends and their cohorts posse....that i ask if you too as well would be interested in a strike a secret accord to say combat these menace? One that would be both mutally beneficial as it is secure against these threats?"

Kylo nods to the words of his contact. sorry for keeping you, but Ill let my troops know, and get them around your territories. Shall we proceed. Kylo would follow his contact out keeping quiet as he usually did.[member="Andulf Nicholas Teraan"] [member="Primarch Iedolas"]

“I must say, i was going to bring it up a similar offer.”, Iedolas said, almost with a delicious smile in his old face. But the elzeri knew best, and so he kept to himself, when you were old enough to understand the games of politics you knew there were things you just did not had the silly attitude to perform in a negotiation.

“Many of the most noble families of the Tapani Sector have fled to under our wing. The Council in my planet has voted for a more… direct approach. Taking back the planets, reestablishing order and peace, uniting trade under one flag to protect ourselves.”, he said in a calm manner, slowly raising his cup, keeping his violet eyes in the wine, and the way it flowed inside the cup. “And so the Interstellar Protectorate was born.”, after sup a little of the sweet beverage with his thin lips, the Solidor proceeded with his speech.

“Not long ago i was King of Kaikielius, Duke of House Solidor, as according to our ways, now i’m Primarch of a government with two planets and six moons. And as you said, we could find a understanding, it was discussed among my fellow Dukes that we ourselves should keep our titles and our rule in our own planets as semi independents, but unite under this Protectorate and its flag for the common good and common trade. Joining our resources to form a strong army, voting our laws like equals in a council and ensuring the lunatics at our doors that we are not so easily conquered as they think.”

He stopped talking for a moment, a very brief moment.
“If you join, and allow us to unite with your lordship under this flag, a seat in our Sanctum would be ever assured to your most noble person.”, and with a smile in his keen lips, Iedolas added to his words. “And also… we all would have a better chance of survival.”

It was then with the second man who'd the Primearch had been conversing with exiting the room. Leaving the two behind at which time with the undivided attention and ear of the Primarch. That Andulf them lay down his proposal to him despite the fact it had not quite clear the floor of discussion as if anything else could be said of it. The main council of Alderaan had been a bit at odds with the situation as far he could fathom to presume from the reports that had been come to his attention. Where in one side comprised of some the other noble house favor constraints as much leaving things to diplomacy and defense while another favored action and offense...To which end as much he dares wish to lean stay true to the high ideal of the Alderaan of old. That more and more each day that he could not help be tempted by the persuasion of the latter to be slowly convinced on the merit of their argument.

At any rate in keeping this in mind that he came and set forth enter into these talks with the elder noble statesman that was the Primarch. Thought he knew himself to be as much view be too green in regards to the matters given that. Other than his inherited title as Count along with the impromptu appointment by the then current standing Organa to ascend the throne. He really had very little if anything concrete to show to merit such a post at his age but then again. He did his best to make up for it by trying hard work keep his work speak for themselves.

At which time it seemed he had not long to wait as soon after he soon gotten a reply from the Primarch. Who as best he could say prove be quite more adept to the negotiation table than we'd anticipate. But just the same relying on his experience working the ground and the network during the dark times. Or what he seems called the days of his secret exile....two can play that game at which end play the part he then replied. In a slightly assured as much not tone.

"Very well is it safe to presume you do agree in the possibility of an accord? In which case I would send word to her highness and start work out the draft of the accord accordingly...."

Iedolas slowly stood up from his seat, going around the room with a smile in his lips. His arm went up in the air, hand hide open and his voice was filled with a pure joy.
“Your lordship is a paragon of kingly composure!”, the man said with bliss in his voice, his hand going back down, being let loose alongside his body dressed in pure white. “We have found great terms with the Silver Jedi, ORC and CSA. Mutual defense and trade routes open once again.”

Those were deals sealed with ink and words. The Silver Jedi were the first ones, Outer Rim Coalitions the second, and CSA was still in the terms of negotiating, but they were coming to the fold. The next step was the Republic Remnant, that dreamed on coming back to the Core, a region the Protectorate had business interests, but no real desire on ruling the damn place. Their eyes were set in other prizes, a much more rich prize, yet untaken and free. A alliance of all the noble sectors in the galaxy, to make them stronger and richer them any other faction.

“If your lordship can be so kind as to say to your majesty that we sure will love to have you join us in the Protectorate. Together, all of us, will do great things in the galaxy.”

It then seemed after a momentary pause that [member="Primarch Iedolas"] stood up to then say hands raise while pace goes around the room.

“Your lordship is a paragon of kingly composure!”

To which he then kept silent for now if the only wait hears straight from his lips if by chance any or all the intel he'd been able to gather thus far had been so.

“We have found great terms with the Silver Jedi, ORC, and CSA. Mutual defense and trade routes open once again.”

And only then that he then leans back from his seat in silent contemplation of what he'd learn thus far. That if nothing else most if not all those that had been more or less in the empire and sith sights of late had surely been on the move. In which case he nods and briefly say,...

" That it seems to be so [member="Primarch Iedolas"] ... for mutual defense and possible trade accords in defense against a growing dark mutual threat for those involved. In which case are we in agreement to say the least to say start the bilateral talks?"

At which time came his reply.

“If your lordship can be so kind as to say to your majesty that we sure will love to have you join us in the Protectorate. Together, all of us will do great things in the galaxy.”

He then stood and with a respectful nod replied back.

" Very well then [member="Primarch Iedolas"] I would foward your response to her Highness to see if or when talks could commence. "

He then moves off to the side in order send for his ship.
