Making a Splash (Ashin)

"So the holocron has all the answers? Well thank you Ashin. Today has been enlightening to say the least."

Darron stood to his full height and clipped his lightsaber to his belt before turning to the Dark Jedi Master. He made sure to take in every detail of her one last time, so as to remember her in peaceful times as Je'gan's granddaughter. Not as the enemy he would have to deal with in the future, despite their alliance. He knew deep down there would be times when their interests would differ and they would have to face each other again. Great job on giving her tips on combat Darron, if she comes back and is capable of killing you next time it's on you. The Jedi Master quickly shot down that grim line of thinking, they had just forged a secret alliance to try and do their best to protect the galaxy. He knew deep down neither of the two would really kill each other, they would scuffle but they had an understanding. No, we will spare each other...for Je'gan's sake.

Holding the holocron in his hand, Darron allowed himself to stare in it's depths for a moment. He would intently be studying it in the coming days and weeks to learn all he could about the galaxy from Je'gan and Ashin. He knew not what was in store for him when he returned to the order he had served his whole life but he knew that it was time to leave Kamino. What Ashin did was her business, even if Darron knew at his core he would not approve. How many lives could you save if you just said to hell with the alliance and kill her now? He briefly weighed it in his mind, think of all the lives you will save with that bond though? The numbers were vastly different and he decided to not renege on his deal.

"Well Ashin, I take my leave to go face the Council. Thank you, and when we meet again don't forget our deal."

With that, the Jedi Master walked into the elevator and keyed in the floor of the Hangar Bay. As the doors began to shut he whispered, "may the Force be with you." He said it to where only she could hear it, and the doors closed to lead him to his fate...
