PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 58
  • Force Sensitivity: NFU
  • Species: Epicanthix
  • Appearance: All that most will ever see of Tiamat is her Chromium covered Blackblade Mark IV Combat Armor and her red and black Armorweave officer's cloak. Beneath the armor Tiamat stands at an imposing two meters even, though compared to the rest of her species this is a relatively average height. Her raven black hair is kept short and utilitarian, and her tanned body is unblemished and bereft of tattoos or scarification in contrast to the rituals undertaken by her fellow Guardsman. The pupils of her eyes are cold and hard like two chips of dirty emerald, although the right eye has a milky film resulting from shrapnel grazing the right side of her face.
SOCIAL INFORMATION

[*]Skills: Trained from a young age in martial combat, Tiamat is an exemplary warrior that embodies the traditions and ideals of the Epicanthix people. She is proficient in sword, spear, and bow, but in these modern times such weapons are inconsequential on the battlefield. Thus Tiamat has adapted to wielding the most state-of-the-art weaponry at her disposal, such as blasters, vibroweapons, grenades, and other assorted gizmos and gadgets. Her most proficient melee weapon is an electrostaff, which she has mastered after countless hours of training and self-discipline. She's also been drilled in basic mechanics, first aid, slicing, and piloting for both ground vehicles and starfighters.
[*]Personality: Calculating, Callous, and Cold. Tiamat was raised from birth to be a killer, a warrior of unmatched peerage among thousands of other grim-faced soldiers. Ideas like compassion, mercy, and tolerance were beaten out of her while ideals such as loyalty, strength, and dedication were exalted and encouraged. To her, Panatha was more than just some world floating in the darkness of space. It was the Fatherland, the holiest soil her boots would ever walk upon, and her God-King was the ultimate embodiment of everything she had been taught throughout her entire life.

To the unfaithful she is a tenacious zealot, a brainwashed acolyte of the Dark Lord's depravity. To the devout she is a shining beacon of enlightenment, a warrior that others strive to emulate. The perfect product of propaganda and indoctrination.

But this unwavering belief in her ideals has bred incurable arrogance, the inability to see any faults in her actions. The artificial infallibility of her cause is so ingrained into her every thought that she cannot see the truth for what it is, she cannot begin to comprehend the monstrousness of the regime that she so willingly, blindingly, supports without question.

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice:
    Blaster Rifle / Pistol
  • Electrostaff
  • CQC

[*]Combat Function: Tiamat rushes into battle alongside her fellow Blackblades, leading the charge into the thickest and most dangerous of combat zones without a hint of fear or trepidation. When personally engaged she can dispatch most foes with accurate blasts from her rifle, but against Jedi and other eccentric melee combatants she uses her electrostaff to withstand their attacks until an opening can be found that she could exploit.

Because of her Epicanthix ancestry she is well protected from mind tricks and other mind-related abilities, but is open to more telekinetic or elemental based attacks such as Force lightning. She attempts to mitigate this by putting as many bodies between herself and any Force user she encounters, hoping to wear them down before moving in for the kill.

Much of her eagerness to throw herself in the jaws of death stems from her thorough indoctrination, the firm belief that everything she does is righteous and pure. Death holds no fear over her, and because of that she is horribly reckless. She will often underestimate her enemies, overestimate the strength and resolve of her own people, and will be unwilling to admit fault and divert from the course of action she has set into motion.

Time and constant war has not been kind to the Major. Her reflexes are growing sluggish, her joints ache from repeated violent impact, and she's losing eyesight and hearing in her right eye and ear respectively. Despite these hindrances, she still powers through to perform her duty to the best of her ability.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Born in Cropis deep within the Blackmoor Marsh, Tiamat was no stranger to hardship and struggle.

She had fought for every scrap, digging and crawling her way up the social ladder from her meager pitiful beginnings. Her determination and resourcefulness was the bane of many local authorities, but those of the Panathan military saw in her a reliable, tenacious soldier that would serve the crown better than the sons and daughters of nobles who had never faced true adversity. Tiamat was adopted as the daughter of a prominent Epicanthix officer and was enrolled in the military, excelling at basic training and proving that she was a quick and capable learner. She voracious absorbed every bit of information that crossed her path, and was incapable of forgetting anything thanks to her eidetic memory.

Tiamat was a corporal in the Panathan military by the time the Sith Lord known as Kaine Zambrano came to Panatha and usurped the throne from the previous King. The new King saw greatness in the young woman, and accepted her as a member of the Blackblade Guard -- the King's private army. It was here that she truly settled into her purpose in life, becoming a fierce adherent of the indoctrination engrained in the minds of the Guard.

After her promotion to the rank of Major in 850 ABY, she coated her battle armor with reflective chromium to serve as a symbol for Sith-Imperial might and to distinguish herself as one who the Dark Lord had chosen to stand among the ranks of his most loyal soldier.

Looking good, but I don't see any weaknesses to balance out the skilled tactician / super soldier / battlemaster vibes. Throw some in and we'll see where we are.

  • Phrik or non-phrik version? Please specify.

The last two parts have been edited, however, I feel that her function in combat has been adequately explained and thus the artificial and non ancillary addition of shoehorned 'weaknesses' seems entirely unnecessary.

The character itself should be enough to gauge strengths and weaknesses, not some mandated checklist.

Please remove the snark from the submission and clarify relevant weaknesses, or this submission will be denied for failure to make required edits.

You may request a second chance at any time by posting in the Second Chance thread.

The Combat Function section has been edited to include new psychological and physical weaknesses.
  • Blind faith & the unwillingness to change / admit fault
  • Accumulated war wounds that gradually degrade her combat effectiveness
