Appearance:
In terms of her build and figure, Maizono 1.70 meters tall, has a somewhat average or lean build, unusually pale white skin, and small breasts. Another unusual trait are her purple irises and lavender colored hair, the latter of which she keeps she loves to play with. Strands of her hair is occasionally tied into braids or tied together with one or more pieces of ribbon.
Maizono appears very distant and cold, evident either by one of her two most prominent facial expressions, she's either bored or serious. It's not to say she's never happy or in a good mood, she just chooses to hide her emotions. She stands up straight and in good posture and always looks calm and in control.
When on duty as a naval lieutenant of the First Order, Maizono wears a uniform and ties her hair in a ribbon and keeps it behind her head, with maybe a braid or two in front of her. When not on duty, she tends to wear a white shirt, with a tie, a black skirt, jacket and shoes. She usually has her hair loose too.
Biography
History:
Maizono was born to an uncertain family on the First Order controlled world of Bespin. Her family was undocumented and rather poor by the time she was born. From a young age Maizono was a calm, smart and unusually quiet for a child and never had a knack for making friends. She outperformed all her classmates by the time she started school and was on many occasions forced to skip school grades, and by the end of high school she was only twelve years old, but to be fair the schools she attended weren't upper or even middle class schools, but nonetheless she received a recommendation to join the First Order's naval academy.
Maizono, not knowing where she was going in life, accepted the request. Most of the other students in her new academy were all over the age of 18 already, and thus she stuck out even more than usual. The academy soon discovered that Maizono was not just simply smart and very mature for her age, but was a very critical thinker and strategist. She knew how to act too, as she was a generally shy and collected girl, but in situations that required it, she was very level-headed and assertive around others.
She was never really physically fit, and grew very slowly, and thus the officials in the school decided that she was not suitable to pilot starfighters or man ground assault vehicles, mainly because she couldn't reach the peddle. Even though she was the average size for a girl her age, but they still decided against it. Instead they recommended she take courses for commanding roles, and by the time she turned 18 and graduated, she was assigned the role of lieutenant in the First Order navy after passing with flying colors.
Personality:
Maizono is very mature and intelligent, even from a young age, which quickly gained her attention from the First Order. Despite these obviously good traits, she was also extremely shy, quiet and struggled to make friends. The fact that she had no friends allowed her to easily shift her focus on school when the time came around. Maizono didn't care that she was growing up with a very poor family, and wasn't necessarily sure what she was going to do with her life either, but she studied anyway. She never allowed the fact that she was poor and had little friends to keep her down, as she always thought of the end result and how to get there.
She learnt to pick and analyze the best possible solution to a problem, not necessarily the easiest solution though, as long as the end result was good for most of those involved. What ever hardships she would have to face, Maizono was calm and kept level-headed and never allowed the current situation, no matter how horrible, to effect her. When required, she did her research and backround checking and was always prepared for whatever was going to happen next. Because she never had many friends, or even a family that was remotely interested in her, she is able to put personal feelings behind, especially when they are irrelevant to the current situation. This makes her appear somewhat cold, and this was another factor in why she made little friends. She has a habit of not informing others of plans she comes up with, and this was a bad trait for her, even though her plans are a success in the long run.
In spite of this, the First Order was glad to recruit her as a naval commander, specifically for her composure, tactical thinking and problem solving and willingness to put personal feelings and emotions aside. Maizono served as the second in command and captain on many warships, for a full year, until one particular battle she was court martialled. After leaving the First Order after the court martial, she was invited to join the Legion of Ashes, a new faction that had formed, where she was the lead starship designer and naval commander.
Notes:
- Maizono's parents are currently unknown because they were undocumented, it is for this reason that she has no surname. Her school's documents give no information on a surname either. Must've been a poor school then.
- She does not know how to fire or hold a blaster, and is typically unarmed. Her academy seems to have focused on anything other than physical training.
- She is not very happy about wearing a uniform.
- Her lavender hair is quite odd. It's certainly natural.
- She knows the names of most of her commissioned officers aboard her vessel.
- She has stopped growing. It appears she is now an adult. She is still short though.
