She gave up everything for this.
Admittedly, this place was beautiful. The rolling mountains, deep forests, and the jewel of a Temple where all the Jedi lived together. She stood there, outside the bounds of the temple, feeling the gentle breeze and fresh air. She recalled seeing this before. She had dreams, dreams so physical they felt like reality. Dreams of feeling the wind on her skin, brushing her hands against the ferns and tree trunks, tasting the cold dirt as she fell into the ground. These dreams, she learned through the person who brought her here, were from the Force. A cosmic energy that bound all life together, and it called her. It called her. Apparently, her destiny was not to be one of the bounty hunters of her home world, her family. She was not to be a mercenary, but a Jedi.
Truly, this place was meant for her, but she felt... aimless...
If this was her destiny, why did she feel so lost? She was always told by her kin what to do and when, but the Jedi Padawan who brought her here just dropped her off. She had nothing to discern or learn. Where did she begin?
She reached down and pulled out her Kage sword. She gazed upon its traditional design, yearning to know just what her fate was. The Force felt cruel, luring her in with dreams of far off planets just to abandon her once she got there. She gazed upon the sword, the sword that represented everything she left behind. Memories of dark tunnels, glowing crystal lights, and the camouflage of darkness overwhelmed her. Her family was strict, cruel, and she was happy to leave them. Yet, now she was confronted with the strangest feeling ever.
Home sickness.
She put the sword away, looking up at the bright, revealing sky of Kashyyyk. She needed a compass, but in what form?
