  HISTORY​

  Your people and planet comes first. That was the first lesson that was drilled in Magant's head. As much as others might be willing to help you out, you have to keep your eyes open for the dagger they could be hiding behind their back. It is better to prepare your own defenses, than to open your door to possible threats.
  
  Born as her family's eldest daughter, Magant has always felt the pressure to be as best as she could be. All eyes were going to be on her, expecting to help to work on the starship and repulsor based technology that Fresia was most known for and thus at the earliest age she could, Magant signed up to join the Military. A way to make her family proud, but also to earn that moment of independence she was looking for. One might think that would have made her more willing to help people but if anything it was the opposite. All that was important was for her to bring her people back safe. Not to bring any disrespect to her family. Family was everything.
  
  So when her father was struck ill by a disease, Magant was discharged from the Army, so that she could look after her family. Whilst her siblings went off to learn special fields of expertise, Magant worked with her ailing father to learn as much she could about the family's expertise. The best way to make deals, the best way to come to a compromise, without risking yourself at the end of the day.
  
  All of this teaching was so that she'd be able to give her planet a voice. Her people a voice. And her family a voice, now that her father wasn't suitable to act as a mouth for the family. Which is why she took even more pressure on her shoulders and joined the Senate to speak for Fresia.
