- Emits a shield that protects against physical forms of battle. Lightsabers, blaster, vibro weapons, polearms, etc are all incredibly difficult to damage the wearer when activated.
- Deactivates lightsaber blades and all weapons fueled by Kyber Crystals when in direct contact. Can be used for blocking strikes.

Maestus got the idea years ago. Physical combat has never been her forte. Instead, she prefers to rely on her strength in and connection with the Dark Side of the Force. She began to think and ponder on a way to bolster her physical battle abilities, while still allowing her to be more Force heavy in combat.
The result is her Shield Bracer V 1.0.
Made from a composite of Beskar, Phrik and Cortosis Weave, it took a year before she got the chemical composition and ratios correct. Countless hours were spent in the forge on Gehinnom, working the metals together until she had the right consistency and balance. A balance of strength and durability as well as lightweight and protection given.
The easiest part of the process was collecting the kyber crystals. She made a solo trip to Ilum, where she retrieved the first two. Then, when the Maw descended to invade, she found the final one. Inlaying them, and thus securing them in the bracer, was tricky work. The crystlas needed to be well seated, but also visible and open enough to do their job.
The crystals emit a Force Shield around Maestus, almost like a second skin. It adds a layer of protection that will completely repel hands and other body parts. Will deactivate lightsabers upon contact with Maestus body, due to shield. Can stop a point blank blaster shot.
