BIOGRAPHY:
Arya Cognito was born in a highly affluent district of Theed, the capitol city of Naboo. Her parents, Torin and Malida, are very influential within local and foreign politics and education. Torin, a political law mentor, educates aspiring politicians in the ways of galactic politics in relation to Naboo. Malida's employment on record is a corporate resources liaison between local and foreign companies. The mystery behind her work is far more unknown even to Torin as she deals with multiple unknown sources as a go-to for corporate espionage, blackmail, and sabotage. The pair welcomed their only daughter and son, Kalus, into the world through strict parentage and instilling an almost ruthless ambition into them at an early age.
At the age of 17, Arya saw her world change after her ten years younger brother Kalus was held ransom by corporate extremists that wanted to lure Malida out to kill her for her work on a particular job. Arya was desperate to rescue her brother despite her mother's insistence that they could just pay the ransom. An untrained Arya took her mother's inaction with anger as she snuck into her mother's office and utilized her espionage equipment to locate her captured brother, then took matters into her own hands by infiltrating the compound of the extremists and almost getting herself killed. As she took her first lives, a badly injured Arya hobbled over to her brother to find she had taken too long. The leader of the extremist cell had all ready murdered her brother. As she approached the limp, lifeless, and bound to a chair body of her brother, Arya cried out in anger and sorrow at herself and her mother. It was at that moment, that Arya vowed to train herself in combat to avenge her brother by slaughtering the leader and to carve her own path. Over the next five years, Arya trained with a close friend of her father's, Remo Deres, Naboo military combat mentor in secret while working deciding to work with her mother as a junior liaison and learning her tricks as she did so. The military instructor taught her close combat fighting between times that Arya was away from Naboo working for her mother.
One such mission, a now 27 year old senior agent of her mother's espionage corporation, Arya was introduced to Coruscant's entertainment district. Immediately, Arya fell in love with the area and decided to make the move from Naboo to the area. Her mother considered the idea for days before considering it useful as a new Core World base of operations for her activities with local corporate types in the area. Arya's love of the nightlife of the district sparked the idea of a perfect front for her activities in the Core World zone. This is where one of the biggest assets Arya owned was born, The Paradiso Nightclub. Arya worked on establishing a lavish and top spot for Coruscant's local elites to spend their money on the pleasure of scantily clad dancers of various species and popular performance artists. As a senior agent, Arya was able to make decisions about the location. A rather surprising decision to her mother was Arya implementing a side profession for her dancers as espionage and assassination agents. This is where she met Talina, her invaluable top Twi'lek dancer turned assistant followed shortly by Layla Litri, her current head of security and training of the dancers.
Over the next six years, Madame Arya Cognito changed course from working for her mother to cultivating her own network of contacts and her own lucrative sources. One notable contact was her infamous drinking buddy, Sal Norogachi. In response to her decision to cut ties, Malida soul searched. She had to do so. She loved her daughter, though never outwardly. Torin and Malida had a heart to heart about their daughter and decided to ultimately support their ambitious daughter, unknowing to this day of the side profession of her staff that Arya was bolstering. It was around Arya turning 38, that she decided she had had enough of Coruscant having been a big part of the entertainment district and Core World business dealings for over ten years. On a tip from
