SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Deployable Anchors: Two legs stick out from the back of the artillery vehicle. They are able to be placed into the ground to provide stability while firing, and also as a pushbar when pushing the gun short distances.
  • Indirect Fire: This Artillery Gun can fire at objects that it cannot see by lobbing a shell in an arc.
  • Integrated Computer System: Embedded in the fire control system is a computer, capable of calculating the exact angle and azimuth the gun must be fired to hit a specific target.
  • Shell Crane: Since the M3 MIFSW fries a 17cm shell, it requires a crane to lift the ammunition to the breach.
STRENGTHS
  • Long Range: Due to the well designed rifled barrel on this gun, it is able to fire shells at long distances.
  • Variable Range: The M3 MIFSW uses series of Propellant Charges to be capable of firing at everything from the closer ranges to the other side of the battlefield.
WEAKNESSES
  • Open Back: The gun has no protection for the crew except for a metal plate on the front. this means the crew is exceptionally vulnerable to flanking.
  • Slow to Load: The M3 MIFSW fires a massive shell, meaning it takes the crew a bit longer to load, even when the crew uses the crane.
  • Travel Time: Because of the high arc the artillery shell must follow, the munitions can take a decent amount of time to land.
DESCRIPTION
After the Civil War on Meu I , the head of the Artillery Corps for Millennium, H. Edwards, became the CEO. He immediately instructed Millennium Manufactories and The Millennium Armed Forces to develop a new standard artillery platform for placement on the rear lines. The result of this joint research project was the M3 Medium Indirect Fire-Support Weapon System.
